How Much Is Your Gas

Paying about $10 per gallon for 99 octane in the uk (car doesn't like anything less!)
99 octane? That's almost jet fuel.

Three things:

You're running 12 to 1 compression or higher.

Or

Low compression but over 1 BAR of pressure.

Or

You acidentally called your sport bike a car?

In any case I don't feel bad for you because whatever you're driving is probably nice! Or fun. Or both.

Honestly I rarely look. Car needs gas, I get gas. And has to be on the right side of the road for quickest in and out. Too bad one near work always has some crazy people who just happen to fill up $4 but have to go inside to pay. Grrrr....

I hate every single one of you who posted here.

3.89 for 87 in SoCal, and that's pretty cheap.

3.57 a gallon this morning for 87... I wish it was as cheap as some of the others are getting!
You guys realize that all of the posts on the first page are from 2005. Those are cheap prices are from 8 years ago.
BTW I'm paying $3.79 in RI for regular.

It's a 2010 Nissan GTR, the uk spec model is near as damned it 500 bhp from the 3.8 twin turbo engine.... It flies like a jet!

The sticker on the inside of the petrol flap says 100 octane but you just can't get it in the UK!

And it is nice (love all things Japanese including my Miuras) and is definitely fun, esp when i can thrash gallardo's off the line!

I knew it!!!! And now I hate you. No offense.

Is the UK spec model still rated like the JDM version? As in they say its 278 BHP, but we all know theyre lying and its way over.....

My sister and I are in a race to buy one of those. When I was in my early 20's we imported a Silvia motor and put it in a 240SX (same as the Silvia only boring US version). It ran a 12.5 quarter mile @ around 17 psi (a little over 1 bar). Thats what got me started on NIssans.

The engines are handbuilt (inc the US ones) therefore they can't put a specific output on it as there are variations from one to another. From a couple of friends who've had theirs dyno'd the range has been 495 to 525bhp.

And no worries on the hating... you'll find it when you get one!

£1.40 a litre for diesel = £6.30 a gallon = $9.50 a gallon !!!!!!

Most of that is Tax - of course it all gets reinvested in our magnificent motorway infrastructure ........

I guess that is one thing I love about Tucson. We have the cheapest gas in the nation! We are sitting at $3.19 a gallon right now. About 6 months ago we actually dropped down below $3 a gallon.

Here are a few that I took not long after I picked it up, took em whilst at the golf club, it's amazing how much you can actually fit in the boot of one of these, golf bag, powakaddy and battery plus shoes and a change of clothes go in comfortably!! (have to take the woods out and lie em across the top but it's a small price to pay!

One of the guys I work with had one and it was stupid fast. He had it modded a little but the thing could launch faster than any car I had ever been in.

Gas is $3.65 for 93 octane where I'm at, I am glad that is all mine requires.
