My name is kinda stupid. I wish I could change it. When I got on these forums I couldn't think of a name so I made the one I have now. But Ernie Els is my favorite Golfer and Titliest is usually what I use unless I can't afford their new stuff. I am a poor college student so the non-titleist clubs I have will do for now. Well, somehow a long time ago (not too long, i'm only 24) a buddy of mine called me "J Bone" (real name is Jordan Burke) and my older brother "D Bone". And it just stuck, I'm also a Michael Jordan fan so when I was creating an email address, I added the 'm' and the '23'.... and just like that you have a screenname.

Although most every golfer know the term "as it lies", it's more than that for me - it's kind of a motto, and a reminder.

 

I think in life, sometimes things happen - you get dealt some bad cards - well, I think you grab those cards and play them the best way that you can - always.

 

I had cancer twice in 1995 (and have made a full recovery) - I had two options - 1.) complain and mope around and feel sorry for myself, or 2.) make the best of the situation, and look forward to better days. I chose the latter, and things have worked out just fine.

 

Besides, if you hit your ball in a tree, you deserve to climb up and try to hit it out...

johndeere10= It was a nickname in high school (John Deere) and I just kept it for all my ids and email addresses and added the 10 since it was next number available.

 

Yes I live on a farm and driven a John Deere Tractor and lawnmower.. ;)
