How many new courses did you play this year?

I stay pretty close to home when it comes to golf so I only played one new course this year. It was the University of Idaho Course. It's nothing special, but it's still a fun and challenging track.

Most notably; Austin Country Club, Mira Vista, Vanderbilt Legends, and The Golf Club of Tennessee.

Didn't get to play as much as I would have liked but I traveled a lot around here in Michigan. Played about 6 or 7 new courses this year! Looking forward to expanding more next year!

I played 3 new courses this year. Mountain View Country Club, Toftrees and Skytop. All here in Central PA.

Only played 32 rounds so far this year (about half as many as the last 3 years) but still managed 6 new courses:

Indian Wells Resort Celebrity and Classic
Mountain Vista - Santa Rosa Course in Palm Desert
Eagle Crest in Escondido

Going back to Indian Wells again next summer (and back to the Dinah Shore Tournament course at Mission Hills after a couple years). Cant wait for that trip.

Only 3 new courses this year but they were on a wonderful trip to Casa De Campo. Played in a 90 hole 2 man event on the Links, Teeth of the Dog, and Dye Fore. We were fortunate enough to win the event and I've already started saving up to go back. Can't say enough good things about the resort, courses, and the people there.

Not a bad year for me. From what I can remember:

[b]Bella Collina[/b]: Interesting course although a bit ridiculous in difficulty. Did knock in an Eagle from 105 yards out of a divot. $50 million club house. Hilly as all hell.


[b]TPC Tampa Bay[/b]: Nice surprise here. I was thinking it would be a very typical TPC design, but this was very well done.

[b]Grand Cypress (new course): [/b]Blast to play, playing there this Saturday for the 4th time this year.

[b]LPGA International: [/b]Great facility. loved the Hills course. The Jones course was solid.

[b]OCN (Crooked Cat):[/b] Much easier than OCN's Panther Lake. I played it right after a torrential downpour. Sucked some of the fun out of it.

[b]Hawks Landing: [/b]Goofy front nine, nice back nine. In fantastic shape.

[b]Champions Gate (national): [/b]Much more fair than the International course, but I didn't like this as much.

[b]Duran Golf Club: [/b]Decent little course.

[b]Harbor Hills: [/b]Another decent little course. Fairly hilly. The 10th hole from the back tees is hard to decide if it's ridiculous or awesome.

[b]Ritz Carlton - Grande Lakes: [/b]Nice course in fantastic condition. It rained hard there so the ball got no roll and made for a very difficult track.

[b]The Villages - Evans Prairie[/b]: Best design at The Villages. Still needs to mature from a landscaping standpoint, but it great condition.

[b]Venetian Bay - [/b]Too flat for my tastes. Decent club to be a member at, but not all that great.

[b]Windermere CC: [/b]Nice course. However, for the travel out there I think there are better courses.
