I love the shapes and finishes of all of the models. I think there is way too much wording on there and it takes away from the sharp lines of the MB. Simple TP badge or just the TM logo.. less is more!
Spot on. All three models are a huge step in the right direction, but the finished graphics muttle and clutter the overall appearance. Still very impressed and will be replacing the RBZ Tour short irons with these MB's, but as Tai said less could have been so much more.
Okay.. after thinking about this more.. the "Tour Preferred" is a HUGE FAIL. I saw the initial pictures a few months ago with the TP logo and was ready for my mind to be blown and the anti-TM cloud over my head to be lifted. They almost had me, until "Tour Preferred".. Just give us the d*mn TP BADGE!! The shape is beautiful on all 3 lines.. over "graphic-ing" again just ruined this classic looking MB! Look at the Mizuno MP4, it's gorgeous.. TM would have had a serious contender and would appeal to a much larger following.

Dear Taylor Made,

Please fix this and put the TP badge back on before you launch this club, and lift that cloud of hashtags, white paint, and cheesy graphics from over my head!

Dont know why, but I actually prefer them with the text and no tp logo! Either way.......outstanding looks!!!!! I think I can officially let the "bring back the RAC's" statement go for good!

I love these - clean looks yet somehow cocky at the same time.

Well you are going up stream, but i see where you are coming from. I think that the logo is smaller and cleaner than the Tour Preferred text

Guy's Just a Thought, when you Buy a TP SLDR, you get a TP flag on the shaft that designates that it's different from the standard Model ( ok we know it's just the shaft) but what i'm saying is, Why use the Flag on the Shaft and then just put the words "Tour Preferred" on the new iron Heads, Come on Taylor Made you presence on this site should tell you that the members on here are your Market when it comes to the TP product.

My 2011 TP CB irons came 4-AW, though I have no idea what I did with or who I gave the AW.

To those that have yet to hit a golf ball with these that are complaining about the badge, no badge, writing, or whatever...if they were the best irons you hit would it still be a deal breaker if the badge wasnt on there?
I think that just making the statement proves that you don't "get it", and no amount of convincing or explaining will help you "get it". I don't mean that as an insult. The badge makes no difference whatsoever performance-wise, and that is not the point.

I know that there is a lot of conjecture concerning the TP shield and whether or not it will be on these irons when they come to retail. Some have posed the question whether or not it will influence people's decision to buy these or not. I can honestly say, if these don't have the logo, it most certainly will affect my decision to buy or not buy these irons. I have a set of irons in my bag that I like and play well with. I have another set of irons in a back up bag that I like and am familiar with. I am already committed to buying a new set of irons next month, which will undoubtedly move the other two sets of irons down the depth chart one notch. That being said- do I need another set of irons? Absolutely not. But, with the badge I definitely would have considered buying them whether necessary or not. They looked that nice. With the Tour Preferred text replacing the TP shield, they don't even enter my mind as something to consider. It is a decision maker, for me, and I'm sure others would agree. The badge is definitely not a dealbreaker for me. But there's so little difference between one company's MB and another's MB that aesthetics play a larger role than they normally would in a GI. So making a really great looking MB is a big selling point of the iron. #KEEPTHEBADGE

Look much better with TP logo vs "Tour Preferred"

My 2 cents...
Agreed. TP is recognizable. People know it. It was when TM clubs were really "cool." They kinda lost me when TP just became a shaft upgrade on the same head and became "tour preferred."
Always thought they could have done very well keeping their top ball under the "Tour Preferred" umbrella instead of changing up that marketing every other year with the Pentas and the Lethal. TM marketing is their own worst enemy sometimes. PV1/Titleist retain their names/product lineups year to year. Stop re-inventing the wheel at TM every year. It will help sales, branding, and loyalty. When people are pretty well all agreeing that the classic TP symbol is much preferred, who is sitting in their focus groups telling them otherwise?? I want to meet these people?!
