2014 Taylormade TP CB, MC & MB Pics (American release photos and spec sheets)

they look unreal, but when we see the tp logo versus the tour preferred writing. The tp wins everytime, the writing looks stupid compared to a small badge, they should have just put tp.

Kind of surprised by all of the excitement about the looks of these. They are ugly in my opinion. Definitely not better than the 714 line, apex line, nike line, and the Ping line.

They would be hard pressed (sorry) to forge an iron with a slot. I suspect they cut them into the head after the forging process.

Yeah, I was kind of unclear. It'd have to be somewhere, but there is any number of places you could include it, with it being far smaller than the "Tour Preferred" text. I'm probably COMPLETELY wrong, but I'm just trying to keep hope alive in my head....I cannot fathom how anyone would decide to drop the badge for the text.

If they are done like the forged Adams MC heads the face is actually welded onto a hollow iron head...material is then added to the hollowed out part.

Not trying to start up any problems, I'm just into equipment and would like to know a few things.... TP Badges or Tour Preferred Script? ..... What I really want to know is who's forging these irons? Are we going to have the same old propaganda that the customers are players exactly the Tour pro's are playing then find out that the retail versions are done in China while the Tour Players are getting there's done in Japan? We all know that the MC's will have a "B" version within 2-3 months if not already done sitting in waiting. I'd one of those equipment freaks who would like to know who actually did the forging for this New line. Taylormade if your listening can you answer this one honestly or would this let the competition in on your secret weapon?

I'm pretty sure the hosel notch is because the MC and CB are multi-piece construction while the MB is one solid chunk of metal.

Also, is it just me or is the sole cut wider/thicker than the RocketBladez or SpeedBladez?

The irons look great and I agree that they missed the boat by not having the TP logo. With that said, I'll still give it a try and the badge isn't going to affect my decision to buy the clubs if the performance is there.

Is it just me or do the CB's look like the rocket bladez tours but forged? Not saying anything wrong with that. Just wish they did it last year

I like TMAG's stuff, the MB's look great, not that I could play them but they look great. As for the MCs and CBs though, not a big fan, looks a little chunky? But Im sure the photo's are not doing them justice. I like the look of the R11 style, MC/CB's so this does refresh the look. Just not doing it for me. But I will say though look ah side, if it plays well thats really all that matters to me, I will give it a shot when they come out!

I think those MCs could be cleaned up a whole lot with "tour preferred" in the same color.

In the first photos it looks like the MC long and mid irons have a base that looks like the MP 54 and then a second level of mass placed in between.

TM is back, although They never left. I'm totally in love with the MB, just absolutely gorgeous.... Great job TaylorMade!
