There is a 56/10 in a S grind if you want less bounce. I mentioned in my previous post that I cant really see much difference in the S grind to F grind apart from some heel relief in the S grind.

Really? The S has a trailing edge grind and it's noticeably different from the F.

I'm a little disappointed that they aren't offering the 56* with a K-grind. Can anyone explain the difference in playability between the F and K grinds?

They have an sm4 56k through the wedgeworks limited release. It is a 4 and not a 5 though. I really like the k grind.

I have a TVD-K in 56 and 60*. I was just hoping they'd release an SM5 K grind in 56. I guess I'll just order another TVD-K in 56. I love the K grind as well.

I am using the 54S with 10 deg bounce as I have in other vokeys along with the 60K with 11 deg bounce in the SM5's, I could use a hair less bounce in the dry times but so far so good b/c of the rain lately. I have a feeling when spring and summer approach and it gets very tight where I play I may have to add a lower bounce option in the 58/60 b/c nothing beats the K out of the sand for sure IMO.

The Titleist fitting van was at my club today and the tour chrome is definitely not a satin finish. For that reason, I am leaning towards the gold nickel. The tour chrome is not the same as the TVD california chrome finish.

What is the K grind? Low bounce wide sole? Just curious as I have been looking for something along those lines to try. I used to have a 58/4? Hokey that was just perfect due to the fact that the bounce allowed some precis oil on, but the sole covered up some mistakes. Just curious...

Med-high bounce with wide sole. The SM5 is 58-11 I think and the TVD K has 10 degrees of bounce.

Just looked it up. I am actually thinking of the Spin Milled 60/04. No visible grind, just a sole wide enough to parallel park a fiat on.

Need a 56 deg. Looking forward to seeing these in person. Almost too many grind options. K sounds nice but most of the courses around here have hard sand so that may not work.

Completely agree. I saw these today in person and they do look great. The Tour Chrome is a satin finish with a touch of shine to it. The black looks great and will eventually rust. It is replacing the Oil Can. The Gold Nickel looked awesome, I didn't think I would like this at all but it is sweet looking. These will be a hit!

Do the K grinds have the same head shape as the TVD K? That's something that always bugged me about the TVD K

I'm looking at the 54*11 SW which is an M grind in both the SM4 and SM5. From what I can tell, the only difference is that the 46 to 54* SM5 have slightly narrower/deeper grooves which supposedly helps from the rough but hurts on partial swings. Assuming I can find a 54*11 SM4 with an S400 shaft, that seems like the better value.
