I know it's only one outfit... but come on. SO MUCH BETTER THAN ADIDAS IN EVERY WAY!

I am one of the biggest NIKE fans, but I thought he looked good in recent adidas outfits. I know he's just practicing, but I'm not that impressed with this NIKE look or much apparel I've seen from the 2017 collection.

It is a similar look to his outfit when he won at Whistling Straits:

The best part about the NIKE deal is that it will presumably rid him of all the corporate logos he wears.

Adidas clothing blows Nike out of the water.

Adidas makes nice stuff - much of which is not available to us. Some of the tour only shirts they dress DJ with look awesome.

I've contacted Adidas in the past trying to find out if there's any way the public can get them, and they told me the tour only stuff is just that - and the only way to find them is buddy up to a tour player and try to score them off him.

I know him and have received a couple of polo's and pants from Dustin - they're a different fit for sure from what is available via Adidas Golf website. I can put pictures up if anyone would like. Helps to be the same size as him.

Nike does make awesome gear though - JD will look good sporting their stuff.

Anyone who wants more of the Nike Modern Fit look in their polo's should try Adidas ClimaCool line - much better fit than traditional Adidas. ClimaChill fit huge, stay away.

Yes you're right - I'd call them a fitted medium. Definitely right for a taller person w/ around a 40" chest. Too bad adidas doesn't offer that cut in their polo's - as I'd own every single one haha.

Minus all the logos I liked the Adidas he was sporting last year. All these Nike guys and their apparel are all blending in now.

Part of looking good is having the physique to pull it off. Realistically, you could put a firm fitting trash bag on Jason Day and he'd look great. I guess I just have a disdain for the 3 stripes. I feel like Nike vs Adidas is a bit like the Ryder Cup and I side with the Americans. Neither pick is a bad one, just personal preference. My wife on the other hand, thinks Rory looks awful every time he wears a color block Nike polo. And just like n case she reads this... I agree!! Haha

I agree. Wish the venues would have told the players with the 2 button plackets last year that they had to wear a collar. They looked like slow pitch softball player with those things on. Just hideous.

Have to see what he wears on course, but this will be a regression IMO. He looked good in adidas.

you're joking surely? Whenever Nike comes out with new styles of clothing they get slammed to death by everyone on wrx! If it was a footjoy logo nobody would say a word!!

So if the majority share the same opinion why would I be joking? Footjoy at least look as though some thought has gone into them instead of luminous awful colour at 80 bucks year in year out.

100% this. "Growing the game" is no excuse for those monstrosities. It's bad enough people turn up drunk, blaring music, failing to break 120 every week without them looking ridiculous into the bargain.

Nike has a lot to answer for.
