Linksoul Boardwalker Pants/Shorts

Due to a recommendation from my friend I recently purchased several pairs of Linksoul's boardwalker shorts and pants. I have always worn more expensive bottoms (Millar, FJ, RLX) and have to say these blow anything I have ever worn away. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants bottoms that look good, feel good and are durable. Cheers!

I agree they are the only shorts I wear on or off the course - they are the best!

On me the Linksoul is just slightly looser than the Nike - not that I mind! You should be able to order the same size.

Nice, thanks for posting this. I'm about to buy a couple pair of shorts for the summer and a trip I'm going on next week. I was almost set of buying UA shorts but these look much better.

Order them in the same size you wear in Nike. The pants' material is amazing, they have a modern fit through the gs but aren't tight. Look good and feel good!

How long is the inseam? The linksoul website says 10 1/4" for shorts and 8 1/2" for board shorts. These are hybrids lol!

Went ahead and purchased 2 pairs. The fit,style, and material are really great. I definitely look at these as multipurpose apposed to obvious golfing shorts. Want to try and find more deals on different colors for these.

Short. Expect a tighter more stylish fit than say like Nike shorts that I've bought. If that makes sense. The material they're made out of doesn't make you feel like you're squeezing into them though. They aren't baggy towards the knee. So again, more versatile short that you could wear on the course or on the weekend.

Also I bought a size 32 when I normally wear 33. Not that they run big but the 32's had a better fit around the leg.

If you're looking for a straight gamer short for golf there are probably better options.

Checked these out at PGA SS this weekend, not a fan of the mini cargoish pocket.

As far as material goes something similar and cheaper are the Volcom surf/turf hybrid shorts. I have a few pair of these and they feel the same, but cheaper and without the side pocket.

Anybody bought the Boardwalker shorts recently? I only have Adidas 3 stripe and Bonobos shorts now. I wear a 34 in Bonobos but a 33 in Adidas due to the stretchy waistband, wondering if anyone can tell me about the sizing on the Boardwalker?

I've found the boardwalker shorts to be consistent with the bonobos sizing. Those two brands are the only golf shorts I wear now.

Bought the pants. Awful fit and quality. Sent back same day...actually bought them based on this thread and was really disappointed.

Boardwalker shorts are the real deal. I have two pair and wear them all the time. For golf I can't imagine a better pair of shorts!

My two cents: I only buy Adidas shorts as they have a bit of stretch at the waist and, less importantly, some rubber on the inside to keep your shirt tucked in.

With my increasing middle aged waistline, the stretch makes them so much more comfortable than any other brand. (I think some others do it now too, though).

If only I could play draped in velvet :wink:

Just got two pairs of the pants, I was wearing Under Armour until I tried these on, they are light, stretchy, fit great, the only pant I will buy.

I love the Boardwalker shorts on and off the course. The pants though, are they thicker or more "robust" than the shorts? I'm imagining the shorts at full length and I'm not sure it would feel substantial enough for a pair of trousers.

I was wondering the same thing...also, how slim fitting are they? They same a little baggy on their website.

Really wish they made them in shorter inseams for us "vertically-challenged" folk. Never been happy with how alterations come out for performance fabrics ...

Have 3 pairs of the boardwalkers, actually managed to snag them on ebay brand new at a bit of a discount. Love them both on and off the course. They are pretty slim fitting i'd say, not hugging your body or anything but certainly not baggy.

they're the same exact material, and owning a pair, i agree, they're rather thin. I wouldn't wear em for your local turkey day scramble in November in the northeast, but for a spring weather pant or even something to wear in the office on business casual summer days, they're prefect.

I ordered the knit chinos. really liked them but 32 was too big. and they are out of 30 in both colors

tgw has apparel buy one get one 50% off, comes out to $97 for two pairs. debating whether to buy or not.
