I've hit it in the net at a local store. It's pretty nice. The top line is thicker than the Honma TW-U Forged I have, but, for a driving iron, it's not exceptionally thick.

It was a while ago when I hit it, so I can't be too precise on the details, but I came away thinking it was a nice club, and if I hadn't just bought the Honma, I would have considered it as an option.

No sarcasm intended with my question but please explain what was wrong with what I did by posting a link.

I will certainly not repeat the mistake again but need to know what I did wrong so that I wont do it again

Stock weight kbs hybrid stiff is 85g.

Thanks. I ordered one with the 85 gram x flex KBS Tour Hybrid. S+ might have been better but they didn't offer it. I'm wondering how stout the KBS hybrid shaft feels. I guess I can always change the shaft and sell the KBS if it doesn't work out.

I found it pretty stout when I ordered an Epic hybrid with it and then returned it. Have a Rogue hybrid coming with the same shaft which I plan on keeping, I think

Maybe it launches very low/low spin? A lot of the UDI's like the TP RSi are labeled as driving irons and do come in 18* but I think also 20*. Same with the U45/65.

Odd though there is no #2 option. I'm typically a high ball hitter and there won't be much of a yardage difference between my 4i and a 20* UDI probably.

I'm all for gaps yardages, number on the bottom is fairly meaningless. I'm still looking for a low stinger UDI that I can keep under like 60ft in height that can run out to like 230-240. I assumed I'd need a 18* #2, but if a 20* can offer me that... I'm game.

The real challenge is being lefty. Almost no used market exists other than a few T-MBs and RSi's.

yup, i have a 20* 3 UDI that is bent 2 degrees weak and still goes a got dang mile. at 20* it was too long.

Agreed. They play strong to flex. I have the kbs hybrid proto S+ flex in a hybrid now and it plays stiffer than the X flex Altus I had in a similar hybrid.
