John Daly injured at Masters....well, sort of..

Now who else would this happen to??

Big John was injured in Augusta yesterday.

He was apparently selling “stuff” out of his RV in an Augusta Hooters parking lot just outside the course property when a car smashed into a barricade and into his RV.

He apparently hurt his knee in the chaos.

Never Change John, never change. Hope the knee is OK big guy.

According to WRDW.com, the vehicle was traveling down Washington Road, the street outside Augusta National Golf Club, when it lost control making a U-turn, plowed through temporary fencing and struck Daly's RV, which was parked in a Hooters lot.

What the hell? Was the car doing a high speed Jim Rockford turn?

We went to meet him Mon night and left after we were told he already went to bed - was 1130. Place was insane looked like spring break ft lauderdale in the late 90s ha.it would be impossible to do what this car did unless you were heavily loaded or trying to take him out intentionally, my guess tanked

Not seeing any hate on this thread. I am seeing people express thoughts that you apparently disagree with. And there's nothing wrong with that either. But it's not hate just because you don't care for someone's lifestyle.

And just for the record, no, I wouldn't waste my time crossing the street to see John Daly.

We stopped by his "RV" on Sunday afternoon, because we were bored(Nothing else to do-pics taken at the front gate was all you could really do)...He told my wife "you have to buy something" to get a quick pic...Umm no thanks John. Im not buying a grip-it-and-rip-it hat to get your pic. The things that happen while youre waiting to get in the gates of the Masters the next day LMAO.

You can "not care for someone's lifestyle" without saying they are low class. That's a pretty severe insult in the American social judgment dictionary. Especially for someone with whom you probably have no personal experience.

Is Daly being an opportunist and an entrepreneur in trying to capitalize on his success and subsequent fame? Yeah. But that's not low class. Those qualities are foundational to our economy and capitalism in general.

Also, selling out of his RV nearby one of the biggest tournaments of the year is just a smart business move. He's positioning himself in front of the market. No different than a food truck. Food trucks may appear to some as "low class" but there are many people who make millions of dollars owning food trucks.
