NBC presidents cup coverage?

Why are they showing a replay today? Is there a weather delay they aren't showing?

For some reason the description is wrong on my on screen cable guide.

Final round coverage does not start until later this evening.

Is anyone going to actually watch it when we already know what happened? I turned it on thinking it would be the singles matches.

I think they may find no one will watch it on NBC tomorrow unless they live under a rock and have no idea what happens.

Although I suppose if something crazy happens I may tunes in.

The guide on my dishtv was wrong. I had set it to record and was replay. Luckily the real final day coverage had just started on TGC.

With so few players and balls in play (especially alternate shot) it blows my mind that you can't see every shot played

My guess is that their production capabilities and resources are limited due to the remote location for an event occurring this time of year.

Ask 100% of the people at work what the president's cup is and 50% of them will not know 100% of the time.

I felt the same way. Even with many matches finalized and even less golfers on the course, we still didn't see many shots tee to green. Very few tee shots, not many approaches, but every dang putt was shown from the moment the golfer put his ball down, read the green and finally rolled it, and his reaction. I had little feel as to who was doing what or how they got there in the final few groups until they were on the green.

For example: 16th hole of the Kuchar-Oosthuizen match, a potentially crucial hole in a crucial match, at a point when at most 3 matches were on the course (I cannot remember if the matches ahead had finished yet or not), they came to Kuchar hitting from the fairway, while Oosty missed the fairway left, no tee shots shown. That's a huge development, yet all we saw from coverage was Oosty pitching out an explanation that he missed the fairway.

Gotta quibble with your numbers. I think the statistic for 50% of the people not knowing is 98%.

I agree and I don't remember the coverage showing anything between the 12th and 15th.

Way too much putting and endless ads.
