Pretty much everybody is offering real deal shafts now... it's a matter of what is available at no upcharge. Hoping Mizuno has more options although the Atmos shafts are nice.

Really wanted to try an Atmos Black, so ended up buying a ST190 for 2/3 the price of the shaft itself! Real deal shafts + discount on last year's clubs is awesome!

I am stuck because this does seem like one of the best deals out right now, going with the ST190.... I have only seen the 190 with the Atmos blue, which works ok for me, but I think the black would be a better combo... I dont think I can be patient enough for the 200...LOL

Been buying from Discount Dan's for years. Give them your specs, shaft (Black 6x for me), length, tipping, grip, etc, off of what's available on the Mizuno website. Awesome guys to deal with, my club arrives next week, can't wait!

I partially did this because the 200 was also so tempting so hopefully this quells the urge of burning an extra couple hundred bucks over the 190.

Thanks, I will check it out... I played the 190g with the black 6s a while back and it was long.... I have Roger Dunn credit burning a hole so that's why I was going to go that route... I will have to check out DDs though. Thanks again.

Will be interesting to see what the new one can do, but I just picked up a brand new ST190 from Global Golf for $175 and the deal came with a $25 gift certificate that I still need to spend. I've got some testing to do between it, the ST180, and a couple of shafts.

I went to LGS today wanting to buy the Marvik or the SIM Max. Then I saw there are 3 new Mizzy drivers sitting there still unwrap and the sales is nice enough to let me hit, he said he just got it this morning and I’m the first person hitting it.

I started to hit the standard ST200 in 9.5 degree with the Mitsubishi blueboard. (By the look of it it’s the “real” shaft) I was wearing long sleep shirt with air Jordan and no glove, I was swing about 95 mph and the launch monitor blow me away. I was carrying about 233 and roll it about 260 yards. I launched about 12* and spin around 1900 ish rpm. Those number are as perfect as i could get from out of the shelf golf club without tuning it. If I warm up and swing my normal speed I have no double I can get it out to 280 yard

i truly believe this is the driver of the year that no one talks about. At address the club looks gorgeous and the face feel explosive off the face. And the club is $399! $100 cheaper than TM and Cally.

i did hit the TM and Cally afterward and here are my thoughts.

SIM Max gave me little better performance in term of spin number and distance, but the shaft length is freaking 1” longer compared to Mizzy. Also, it feel “hard” off the face. However, at address, it looks great, it’s very easy to align.

Marvik at address doesn’t look as good in my eye but it feels much better than SIM max. Performance it’s okay, it gives respectable number but it doesn’t blow me away.

i like the Mizzy so much and ask the sales person to sell me the demo but he really couldn’t. He told me the driver will release on 2/7 and I can’t wait to get my hand on it.

Was excited to see the expansion in shaft options for this year, only to be really perplexed. Wanted to buy a driver and 3 wood. Went to an online shop with custom options listed. Driver with my go to GD DI 6S - check. Go to order the 3 wood - GD DI 7 - only available in X. Seems the same for the other upcharge shafts too - Ventus Blue/Black - 6 only avail in S, 7 only avail in X, GD DI XI only 6S and 7X. etc. Why the Mismatch? So frustrating.

Mizuno's EU website seems to show the same thing (the US website is useless).

I'm hoping this is just an error on the website. Anyone with any insight?

I have the ST 190 and tried the ST 200 and you are correct it certainly felt softer.

No it’s the case. Mizuno played inventory roulette last year to. It was reverse which made a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny bit more sense. Last year it was Atmos black 6s,x 7s. I’m with you. If I’m gonna custom order, I want what I want. The weights need to cascade. I’m certainly not going to get a 6 stiff in driver and a 7 x in fairway. This is against conventional logic of being fit in the first place.

No idea. I'm still happy with my ST190.
