G/Fore Sizing

I know this has been asked on these forums before, but hoping now maybe more people have worn G/Fore shoes.

 

I wear a 11.5 in FJ Icon

 

I wear 12.5 or 13 in Nike

 

What size would that equate to for G/Fore?

I wear a 10 in everything FootJoy and a 10.5 in my GFore Gallivanters.

I wear a 9.5 in Nike. A size 9 in Adidas 360 Boost 2. I have the G/Fore Peter Millar Brogues in size 9.5.

 

I will say it took me 2 orders to get the sizing right with my G/Fores and you would be best to just order your normal size and see how it goes. I had no problems with returning and exchanging.

I found my G/Fore Gallivanter saddle shoes to be true to size.

I wear a 12-12.5 in everything, but G/fore 12 was way too small. For me, it's a size up for sure.

When I tried them they were maybe a half size smaller then my normal shoes. But I do like a roomier toe box.

Agree that they are not a roomy fit. Great shoes though.

Wow, it seems like it's a bit all over the map with these. I have two pairs coming in the Gallivanter's - one .5 larger and the other 1 size larger. I'll update when they arrive.

so what were your findings?? Are there any retailers who sell G/Fore? I'm sure there aren't any in my area but if I travel, I might go try on a pair...

I'm a 10 in Nike and Adidas, and a 9.5 in FJ.

10 in G/fore has worked well.

I had a pair of Gallivanters a couple of years back. They were too small. Half a size bigger would have been better.

To follow up after my purchase- I went with the 12.5.

 

The 12 would have fit and to be honest I could hardly tell a difference. Oddly I have a fairly narrow foot and the 12.5 just seemed to fit a bit better in general, which didn't make sense to me.

 

I'll put it this way - if I am ordering in the future from GFore I would probably order both again to double check. If I see a pair of 12s or 12.5s pop up on the classifieds or ebay at a good price, I would buy them.

 

So I would agree .5 to 1 size bigger.

Sorry, I didn’t answer sooner. I wear a 12 in FJ and Nike causes me problems bc some styles a 12 will work (LCV2) and others a 12 is way too small (Tour Premier). I just got my first pair of G/Fore Gallivanters in a 12.5 and I’m in love. I’m walking 18 in them tomorrow and if it goes as expected I may get rid of every other golf shoe I have. Even my Jordans.

Bought a pair blind during the Jan. sale. Sized up 1/2. These shoes are so narrow AND the right heel kept slipping. Immediate return.

 

At least it was free shipping back to them.

I typically am an 8.5 in Footjoy - required a 9 for G/fore - the shoes are narrow and although the 9 may have a bit of extra room in the toe box, the 8.5 were too tight. Most comfortable shoes I’ve worn on the golf course - all my Footjoys have been sidelined. I’ve played about 5 rounds in the shoes and have been complimented every time by the people in my foursome on how nice they look (I’ve got the skull embossed). Ordered a pair of the Pintuck ribbon during the season end sale and looking for a deal on the longwing gallivanter!

I was same as FJ/Adidas in the GFore BUT not for the MG4.1 (the tennis shoe ones) - they fix at half to full.size small.

 

Had to get 12.5 and I have two pairs and one is smaller than the other. They kind of suck at the whole consistency thing. Great shoes though.

Pretty consistent size 11M. Went with 11.5W . Should have gone 11W. Did not need the extra length but they are slightly narrow .

Im a 10.5 in Nike Golf shoes (Victory Tour) and also had 10.5 in Gfore Disruptors last year which fit similar

I just bought a new pair of Disruptors in size 11 off of eBay and was very nervous after reading this thread. I must say they are light and fit is right on the money. I wore thin ankle socks and actually had a little bit of room, but still comfortable.

 

This is from their website in the frequently asked questions section - it looks like the Gallivanter is the shoe that requires resizing...... How do I know which shoe size will fit?HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SHOE SIZE WILL FIT?Our Gallivanter shoes are designed with allover interior padding and a slim toe box therefore they have a slimmer fit. FWIW thier pants are spot on sizing is perfect at 34" waist, their shirts need to go up a size, Im a M in FJ/ Peter millar L in adidas/nike and XL in GFORe shirts
