Most forgiving iron with thin topline and no offset?

Everytime these threads come up I can only think of the Bridgestone j38/40 DPC. Both have longer blade lengths and a thin top line. Very minimal offset if any, and very forgiving. I have a set of the 38s as my backup set and while they look larger than my z745s, the Srixon top line does look chunkier. The stones can be had cheap, too.

Do the Adams XTD forged fit the bill? Thin top line, forgiving- would you call these a "Blade"?

Every time I've posted in a thread like this, I always say the Scratch EZ-1. The topline on those are just as thin if not thinner than my Callaway blades. I haven't hit the second version, but I imagine they're just as nice.

This and if looking for newer, the J15 DPC are a bit larger and certainly forgiving.

I have them. They are very forgiving for a players mixed cavity/blade-ISH set, in terms of trajectory. If one is looking for heel-toe forgiveness, they're probably looking elsewhere.

TM RSi TP. I will rant and rave all day about how good these irons are. Forgiving, almost no offset, good topline, and the ball LAUNCHES.

No doubt he's found his set by now... but for others, stay clear of the Apex pros if you don't want offset. I've got a set, love them, but the offset sometimes ercks me!

 

The Maltby's have minimal offset. Super easy but not OEM which most seem to require.

Let me know if you guys want any more pics. I've got a couple 4-gw sets. The finish is outstanding too. That set has about 30 rounds on it and shows virtually no wear. No bag chatter due to silencer stand bag.

Skhacker, thanks for the pics. They look great after 30 rounds. I play the cg7 tzg, also great irons, nice to see how they line up next to them. Looks like they have a little thicker sole and more camber. May have to put these on the list.

He probably did. But this is WRX, so he's probably been in 3 more sets of irons since then.
