man this cat has a fugly bag , I know its function over form . Seems like Cleveland would swing weight his sticks for him . As is only us golf aficionados will ever know what sticks Boo is playing. Cleveland is sponsoring him why would they want the Cleveland name as visible a possible ??

Yeah really. Was at the Wells Fargo (then called Quail Hollow Championship) a few years ago and had a nice little exchange on the 18th tee on a Saturday. Seemed like a very personable guy. Been a fan of his since then.

Same story here. Meet him in the Naples airport at the bar a few years ago. Started talking saints football and really cool down to earth guy. Took me a second to even know it was him but when the ostrich leather wallet came out and I noticed the Cleveland golf backpack it was easy. I guess now in hind site the mossy oak t shirt should have gave it away first.

From the looks of the amount of tape, I would say that much tip weighting would promote a big draw.

Got to talk with him and watch him hit that same SLDR at his charity event last summer. He had just picked it up, hadn't made any adjustments to it at all, and it was going left on him consistently. I asked him if he'd made any adjustments to it and he said something like "Nah, I don't know how any of that stuff works. I let the guys in the trailer help me with all that." We both got a good laugh out of that. He's so back-woods, but it's 100% genuine.

Any idea on the SW he plays for his irons? Those look intensely heavy.

I really like the look of those Cleveland MB's, but I tried the RIP graphite in the Adams XTD irons and all I can say is it's most certainly not for everyone. It feels funny while it loads (like I had no idea where the head was), tried the same iron in the C-Taper and I was fine. Most certainly an expensive experiment for someone to try out

Everything I read on the equipment forums said it was the swing, must be the case with Boo as well....

It's good to see Boo back on the leaderboard. I wonder how that Odyssey X milled will hold up under pressure. I rolled the Rossie version last weekend and thought it felt great. The neon grip was a bit much, but the results were nice.

Boo is a genuinely good guy. I have worked with him a few times. He only asks for wedges about every 5-6 weeks unlike so many now that change every 2 weeks. WTG Boo!
