Beauties. Those grips are also very tacky. Need to find the name and maybe order some. I got one randomly on a second hand club.

I wasn’t sure about them at first but yes quite tacky but feel great in the hands.

Previously posted a pic of the G425 22* a few weeks ago and liked it very much while playing in Ireland.  However, it goes quite a bit farther than the Rogue 23* it replaced, which created a huge gap from my 5i.  So I bought the G425 26* and will, for the time being, have both in the bag and remove my venerable M1 5w.

Just peeled off the plastic from this G425 LST 10.5*.   The Tour AD IZ 7s I'm pairing with it is currently curing after an adapter change.

Did you demo these or did you know these were what you wanted? I'm demoing the 749's and 799's. Once I get the capital I'm going to be purchasing some 749's. They are so forgiving and feel so stable in my hands. Lots of distance too.

I did a demo of the 699 pro with the standard steel shafts last month. Closest i could get to trying out the shaft was playing more with my 699U 3i with the same one, and figured it would transfer well to the full set. I figure if it doesnt work out too well I will just start my first adventure in club building and re-shaft them myself.

What did you find was the main difference in hitting the Pro's vs the Standards?

Sorry, should've clarified-I only demoed the pros. Thought process with the standards was that i have enough difficulty hitting my utility off the ground that there wasn't much sense in getting the pro long irons. Also makes for a more gradual transition between the utility with its offset and thick profile down to the smaller pros.

Why do I keep doing this? 😄

I've liked the CB and the Hybrid Riptide shaft, so why not go to the max on the driver just to see how it feels?

Evenflow Riptide 80G 6.5TX SMB

I was thinking about trying a TX Flex 80G for the heck of it and it was a pretty good deal. Maybe I won't be able to game it, but what kind of WRXer would I be if I didn't experiment?

I was going to comment on the art since you had it laid out like that, I thought it was a water/oil mix painting and it was drying lol.  I was going to say nice job.  Don't forget the masking/painters tape to blow the grips onto.

also make sure that after you put 1 grip on to check it for flat spots.  I had a set of the Geoleap and there were flat areas where the grip was pressed together and even though the grip was on straight, the flat areas touching my hands had the club open many degrees.  Nice cheap option as long as they are set properly.

Thanks for the advice, I was going to pick up some masking tape but now that I've heard painters tape, I've got a bunch from this renovation. Thanks for the info of the grips too.

The paintings are just laid out that way because I haven't gotten around to hanging them yet, and I was just leary of them being damaged more from being stacked on each other. I know they'd most likely be ok, but since they're already slightly worn/scratched and I have the space to lay them out I did.
