GIVEAWAY: NEW Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana Shafts! Exclusive finish! Enter here!

Recommended Posts

Mitsubishi Rayon just announced their second generation Diamana shafts (see the story here).

Amongst other upgrades, MRC's Multi-Dimensional Interlay (M.D.I.) technology is now throughout the length of the shaft, where it was previously only used in the tip. That allows each shaft to be made about 3-to-4 grams lighter without affecting the shaft’s bend profile. Unlike the original Diamana shafts, it also allows Mitsubish to tune the torque of each shaft to a specific flex, giving softer-flex shafts a little more torque and stiffer-flex shafts a little less torque. We are giving away two(2) new Diamana shafts in an exclusive ION Plated Finish. The Tour didn't even get that! Read how to enter below.

THE GIVEAWAY

NEW Mitsubishi Diamana shafts in an exclusive Ion Plated Finish. 2 winners. Choices are 60g Blue, or 70g Blue or White.

TO ENTER

In a post below, name your all-time favorite Mitsubishi Rayon shaft and tell us why. Don't be afraid to dig deep on this...

That's it. Winners to be chosen in 2 weeks. Good luck!

RULES

We randomize all the number of posts and the #1 number on the top is the winner. Say there is 1,000 replies from members. We will randomize 1 to 1,000 using a website that has a randomizer. It scrambles the numbers and the #1 is the first place and the #2 is the second etc. Members with multiple entries will void their chance of winning. See complete rules for the giveaway.

Favorite Mitsubishi Rayon shaft is the Ahina 72. Great shaft, I do like the white and think this new one either blue or white would be perfect! Great giveaway.

Original Flower Band Whiteboard 63x. It just felt so dang good when I hit low line drives with it the first time and have played one as recently as last year.. Would love to see what the new shafts offer over the originals.

I really liked the stock shaft on the Nike SQ Sumo2. I really liked the way it loaded, and when I started hitting that club with the shaft I started noticing I was hitting the ball alot farther and straighter. (I was like 13 or so I think?). Nike really uses the Mitsubishi shafts well for stock golfers. I think alot of the reason some people change their stock shaft is because of ego (they're too good to use stock shafts) but Nike has done a great job with them I must say.

My favorite is the flowerband Whiteboard 63G in stiff which I still currently use in my driver. It was my first aftermarket shaft and after checking out a few different high end shafts (Speeder TS, ADBB), the whiteboard still can't be beat. Before I got my whiteboard I would spray the ball and would struggle to find fairways. I've grown to really like the Diamana shafts and now play them in all my woods and will continue to do so.

I have played Diamana series shafts for years now. My favorite is the Blueboard 83x (okay, really the 93x but those are harder to find), and I have played those shafts in my fairway woods on and off for nearly five years. They yield such a great mid launch and feel is better than anything else out there. Perfect fairway shafts, just like the Whiteboard is for drivers. Great giveaway here.

My favorite right now is the D+. I was on a golf buddy trip in May and was playing against my old boss (who I obviously never beat when he was my boss) for a couple bucks. We were neck and neck coming up to the last par 5 on the back and I smoked my drive and had 260 yds to the pin. I looked at my cart partner who just said, "go zone dude," so I pulled my 3 wood, put a good swing on it and felt the most beautiful kick through impact and watched a beautiful little cut land on the front of the green and run to the back. Drained the eagle putt and won the match on that hole! It was probably the best shot I hit the whole week and the first eagle I've had in forever! What's better than beating your boss??? Beating him the first time he's no longer your boss!

Incredible giveaway, thanks for the chance! I think I'd love either shaft!

[/quote]Excuse me for deviating from the thread's theme, however TW, you nailed it!!

It wouldn't make a bit of difference for probably the 90% of the golfing public and a few blind "tests" have been done and for most of those swinging, if they had the correct shaft, "made for" or retail, one, they couldn't tel tell the difference and two, they hit the ball just fine.

Like most things in our society, when you introduce a male into the equation, ego takes over for rational thought ;)

Great observation!!

Good luck with the contest and thanks to WRX & Mitsubishi for another great give away :)

Diamana B series 60X. I like it because it launches high with mid/low spin and won't go left. The feel is very good as well.

Favorite Mitsubishi Rayon shaft of all time has to be the original Blueboard. Mid launch/mid spin fits perfectly for me. I'm currently BB63 in my driver, BB83 in my 3W, and will be getting another BB83 for the 5W.

Best shaft of all time and it is still being used on tour which shows how popular this shaft was/is and will continue to be popular on tour for a very long time.
