Looks like Nike will be selling a very limited amount of MM proto sets on 8/4. This per their FB page.

Only 40 sets available on 8/4. I may need to bite the bullet and try to order a set. I will be a little upset if they end up releasing these retail for $900 a month or so later. What is a ho to do???? Lol..

I'm going to try too but like you stated, chances are pretty much impossible. I hope these are still going to be released at retail down the road though.

You need to bite the bullet as hard as you can. Plus these are OVEN irons with your specks, your choice of shaft, grip , and stamping. Did I mention that these are from the OVEN and only 40!

The retail ones will be $999, plus you'll want different grips and shafts anyways.

Nike Golf's marketing has been pretty good as of late. Enjoy them taking the motivational route rather than the gimmick route.

IMHO, Nike should continue to sell clubs like these from the Oven at the premium price point. They should make them available at all times.

So we should be still holding out hope for something similar in a retail version in November right? I'm asking the question for all the leftys, based in their chat a while back. I would be plenty content if they would just give us a covert forged. Crossing my fingers for November or next spring.

It's an important stretch leading the PGA so I can't imagine either of them bagging the MM protos. I would bag them in a heartbeat but my double digit HC would not do them any justice. Nike, please release a MM protos MC version!
