I did a 3-wood fitting at Carl's today and walked away with a Cobra F8 with an Aldila Blue 2kxv 70s. I'm super pumped as I haven't used my current one in two months due to my struggles with it.

 

I also hit the Rogue, M3/M4, and Titleist TS2/TS3, but nothing had the combination of accuracy and length as the F8. Nice high draws carrying around 250

I’m usually not a big fan of Fabio designs, but this one is a lot less tricked up than others of his that I’ve played. I really enjoyed it (especially because it counted as “work” and was on someone else’s dime).

Mostly loft, I always thought I putted with 4 deg better than 3 deg, well I got fitted into 1.25 deg! Got a slick putter in the bag

I have always wanted to do a Betti fitting. I was considering it, but I have now had the Golo3 in my bag for more than a year now and I have had my best putting year since moving away from the Belly Putter.

It was great, I didn’t go there and spend two hours. I told him what I liked and went with the first head he gave me. Got a quick mini tour of the vault putters and swag. I was in and out in about an hour start to finish maybe less. Playing tomorrow morning, no matter what the results of my first round I have total confidence I’m using the right putter for me.

Shoulder surgery happening in early December, so hopefully will be back to playing/hitting balls in Late Jan/Early Feb.

I haven’t play since the last week of August!!!! I feel like an Uber driver with the kiddos, schedule is consistently busy and really no end in sight :(

At least I’ll play in Florida and Dominican over the winter months I guess.

I extended my streak of months with at least one round in Michigan to 31 (I think) today. It was actually a pretty nice day without much wind. If it wasn’t for the very expensive 3-putt on the last hole, it would have been a pretty great round, but it was still fun with a good group.

Yea I’m not a big fan of those kinda snakes.

 

 

Speaking of snake, that’s the putting game we played. It’s played outside any skins or team bets, last person to 3 putt has to pay out to everyone else in the group. It’s fun because the guys who are 8-10’s that we play with aren’t bad putters and hit less greens so it’s a pretty even bet. Gets fun on the last 6 or so holes. No idea where the name Snake comes from.
