Curious. On the sole of the G did the owner request the pink scallops be all pink ? Or can you do pink/black/pink etc on the scallops ?

With this one we just did it pink but we messed around with it but the problem is they are to shallow to tape off and paint so if we do these drivers they will have to be one color, at least at this current time.

Ok thanks. That is one area I think Ping did a terrible job even with their own blue paint they put on the sole. The blue outlines sort of look out of place. Probably would have looked better being all black in that area.

@Russ757 I just checked out your WITB link. I think you were the inspiration for my 3446! Man, I wish I had posted this a few days ago. I was looking for reviews of your exact Ogio shredder bag - white camo and all. They are on clearance at DSG for like $89. I ended up going with a Srixon Z-four instead (reviews said the legs flop while walking on the ogio), but I love the woodie system. How do you like that bag? Do your legs flop? lol

 

Oh, and I'm also jealous of your wedges. Been looking for those exact wedges for a long time. We must have similar tastes.

For putters we can on stainless putters only refinish them to original or paint them any color you would like, matte/gloss black, red, blue etc. On Carbon putters we can do the paint of course or do them in an Oil Can or Black Oxide finish. Let me know if you want to see examples of these I will be more than glad to share some examples.

 

Also on a side note if you have similar taste to Russ I will go ahead and get our blaster ready for the wedges that are going to be on the way.....

Yes sir we sure do offer that are you are looking at about 25 dollars per club depending on the club. If we have to remove the shaft and go in that way it would be 40 total.

 

Also guys the G driver doing it that way is much more difficult to paint and has much more time involved so its going to run if you want a "Bubba Style" job at $125 dollars. Solid color top is still $50 and sole is $10 dollars more, just painting it the 2 different colors is what drives up the price. Thanks everyone

Is the black (dragonfly part) on the crown of the Bubba one painted ? I assumed that was the matte black stock finish, and the pink was painted over top. no ?

Hey guys. I have a set of 690 MB's on their way to me. Depending on the condition they are in, I may be looking to have some work done to them. Can you tell me what options would be available? Just re-chroming? Or could they be stripped and black ox'd? Cost per head? Appreciate it!

This was a new one in plastic so we saved the black since we wanted this one bubba style instead of say white where the black is, the most time consuming is all the trimming,taping etc on the driver. We can make the black any color you want and its no problem at all, that's the easy part lol. Thanks!

 

As far as the 690's go we can only strip them and leave them raw or black ox them, keep in mind black oxide on an iron wont last a very long time and will still rust over time. We don't do any sort of re-chroming in house im sorry about that. Feel free to pm me with what you might want and I will work you up a price if you are interested. Thanks very much!

Have you ever done any different finishes to a Cleveland Classic? Would it be possible to get that gold portion on the face and bottom of the club to be a plain old metal look?

here ya go! Speeder 757 Did a budget refinish on this one (one color) so nothing too exciting. It's beautifully done though.

We have one that is going to black and keeping the carbon look that will be coming out next week. That is a pretty straight forward finish that is a normal 1 color 50 dollar charge. Also the carbon looks AMAZING in a matte finish!

Jumbo, we would have to refinish the head but we can save the decals and make it original to you no problem. It takes about 2 weeks in house then the shipping back to you.

I am so late to this thread! Continental has done work for me before, and I was going to say that the pictures don't do justice to their work. But the pictures are pretty great, aren't they?

 

Reading this thread is like reading a thread about your favorite fishing spot, for me. What you thought was a fantastic secret that only you and a few others knew about, getting talked about by people all over North America.

 

There is a very, very small handful of club-workers to whom I'd send a club via shipping for work. Continental is up at the top of that list.
