I wouldn't buy one from anyone at this point unless I'm paying the price of the bag at blowout plus their shipping fee. Knowing that anyone selling a new one for the foreseeable future 99.9% only paid 89.99 plus tax and I can't stomach padding anyone's pockets above the cost to ship to me. Anything above that and it's nots worth it for something that would probably sit the garage and hold excess clubs. These weren't exactly a hot commodity at full retail, just like the woods, until peeps got the idea to buy and flip.

 

Yeah, that's totally fair, and I wouldn't do it either. I was just pointing out that if you really wanted one getting it at half retail was still pretty good. It wouldn't have done anything other than sit in my office/spare bedroom for me because there's little chance i'd rock it on the course.

I'm actually thinking about getting vapor fly pro. I currently game vapor pro and I wouldn't mind playing with more distance and forgiveness with that price.

I want a set of Vapor Fly Pro irons and build up with the black Recoil shafts in X flex. Would be a sleek and stealthy iron!

 

Just $600 for the shafts, $500 for the clubs, another $100 for grips.. ugh

 

But they would look sexy!

 

Just wish I knew what the Recoil shaft was like. Coming from C-taper 130x and DG X-100's before that, not sure how graphite will fit.

That's been tough for me too. VPC or FVP. I own VPC and won't hit them until spring but I like the VFP too and they'd look sharp in the bag.

I doubt you'll be able to find a coupon for this stuff. The only Nike.com coupons I've ever seen are the clearance codes, and golf equipment isn't on clearance (yet).

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a set of engage wedges and was just wondering, is the rusting crazy or controllable? Weird question I know, but I don't wanna have super out of the world rusting on my wedges. Also, do they make engage wedges that don't rust at all? Thanks guys!

I say it's controllable. It took weeks for mine to start rusting and then I aided it along. My 58 sole is mostly rust free from hitting bunker shots. And all of the Engage models rust.

It's not too bad, and you can always soak them in coke overnight to clean most of it off.

Picked up a used Vapor Pro driver with a Tour AD MJ 7x shaft. Club looks great and performs well but I think the shaft is a bit much for me. I have an M2 with a Tour Ad MT in stiff that seems to fit better. Amazingly, the Vapor Pro was giving me equal (or slightly more on a couple that really ran out) distance but I was leaving it right more often when testing against the M2. May be on BST soon.

If they start to get more rust than you prefer, give them a bath in CLR and you'll be good to go.

that's the sole reason I decided to go with MD3's. I don't like the rust look at all, and i don't wanna have to deal with trying to keep the rust away.

I've only rolled it on my carpet, but it feels really good! The RZN is different, but it feels better than most insert putters I've tried. The ball seems to really pop off the face. The Counterflex setup is great and the weighting is perfect.

I ended up ordering a b1-01 CF and really don't care for the solid blue grip on it. Your grip has some black in it which looks better imo.

Finally played at Chambers Bay yesterday. Had a great round shooting 78 with 1 birdie...left a ball in the rye grass with my name on it.
