Actually. ...no....unfortunately....but should.....

Most didn't enjoy sound/feel of the pocket cavities (2,3&4) saying they are "clicky"

Well, they aren't as soft as the rest of the set but they are hollow backed long irons that just get up easy for me....I'm on these irons for the 4th and final time! I've got better things to spend money on.....lol

IMO the 2014 version, which they put the gel in the hollow cavity, are much better sounding/feeling than the 2011. I just think people got a preconceived notion from the 2011s that they wouldn't like them.

I love mine.

Any Nike.com codes out there?

The only codes are mostly for clearance items on NDC.

Won't see one for a bit. They had a additional 25% off sale like a couple weeks ago

Ok now I know some will give me crap about this so if your going to "I don't care!". Now that I got that out of the way. I did my first try at stamping today and not that bad. The engage wedges are harder because it's more of an angle and I'm learning. Just did wedges and some of my kids clubs because we will replace those sooner, so some practice is needed and these will do.

My N did not turn out to good because the wedge wanted to slide more because of the angle but the B turned out really good. My sons turned out pretty good and of the 4 I did of his that was the best.

So anyone doing Engage wedges make sure that it is up against something that will keep it from sliding on an anvil. I used a vice anvil and it worked ok. With out going into to much had to brace it against the vice part to keep it from sliding.

The club pro at my club wants me and him to start doing custom club repair, builds, stamps, and etc. so I'm learning. Again I know it's not tour quality! Got to start somewhere!

Double-sided grip tape.

Put the tape on the anvil and the face of the wedge on the tape. No sliding.

this ^^

works like a charm, just make sure the edge of the face isn't pinching on the anvil, or it will leave a scar on the face

I actually put double sided tape where Im going to stamp as well, as it helps keep the stamp in place and from moving around once the hammer hits it

each wedge head is different, some are a lot harder to stamp than others depending on what the head is made of and the finish

use a heavier hammer, so you can strike down (and down, not at an angle) w a deep blow - this will help sink the stamp into the head w/out multiple blows

Looking for some advice from the nike pros here. I'm currently gaming some mizzy mp4s and think I need a little more forgiveness. I came across a set of vr pro combo pocket cavity and split cavity set. Anyone have experience with these and how they may compare. Thanks!
