Lol. No, I wussed. I've been battling bronchitis for 2 weeks, so I'm waiting for something a little nicer to avoid ending up in the ER.

I think I (or in this case Mrs) picked the right time to pack up and go.... 85 and blue sky here in beautiful Punta Cana. Probably should have brought my clubs with and gotten at least a round it two in, but I'm a cheap bastxxx - paying $150+++ for a round of golf is against my religion :).

Finally, a decent forecast. I'm booked at Harborside (Starboard) on Saturday morning. The booking engine listed the price as "Aeration" pricing, but I don't recall them ever aerating early in the season. I have to assume the course is in rough shape. The Port course is charging more, and has been open for a few weeks, so it's probably the better of the two at this point.

A tale of two nines yesterday. Had you told me I would have shot a 91, I would have been content. Had you told me a 91 after the front, and I would be a bit bummed. Just started getting tired on the back. It was a tad chilly, but the sun almost completely made up for it. Had some really nice shots, and a lot of close putts, but couldn't drain any of the birdie chances.

 

On to today. I will be hitting up Sandy Hollow with a coworker.

Haven't been able to get out yet this year, but damn the weather looks great this week!

 

Had some back issues about 6 weeks ago and still have some stitches that are set to come out on Thursday. Haven't been able to swing in almost two months. Been pretty bummed, but will be much different when the weather is nice!

 

The grass is starting to look nice and green, too!

Played a round at Ruffled yesterday, about what you'd expect in the spring although the greens were rolling nicely. The game is rather rusty, I was playing some amazing golf when the season finally ended in December and my game unfortunately did not pick up anywhere close to where I left off.

Played Bowes Creek this morning. Not a soul on the course today. They were rolling the greens. It's in very good shape all things considering.
