How big are the files?

Part 1 of the 1080p version is 2.0GB, part 2 is 1.9GB.

I'm downloading it now, while streaming The Masters...at work.

You talk like that is a bad thing - doing the same thing right now as well with part 2 - luckily, though, i work in an accounting firm, so nothing important like a tax deadline or anything going on, so its not like anybody else needs bandwidth.

Ordered! I remember when wedges and short game was $25 a piece. Not complaining : ). Unfortunately the only instruction I can really afford is from Monte's videos. Not a pity party but non stop flights from Cali to Cleveland are cheap!! hint hint : P

You realize that there is ~4 hours of content on this one video, where the other 3 are ~1hr each? $25/hr on the first 3, then $12.50/hr for the last.

Depending on where you are, that isn't minimum wage :)

*edit - Monte does online lessons.

Monte,

Well worth the wait!

Video #1 at 29mins you talk about the "Bump" and the pressure (not weight) shift from "the right heel into the left side" the graphics say "real heel to front heel" (29:21).

Realizing there are many ways to get it done, but trying to understand what may be more ideal as it relates to the initial pressure shift into the front side. Should it go directly into the front heel or into front toes and into left heel, etc?

Many thanks if anyone else has thoughts or can point me to other links addressing this topic.

It eventually gets there. I made a decision on that one to leave it out because people get to the front heel late. It will go through the toes automatically.

People who actively try toes first usually EE badly.

All "tips" are welcome. Instruction not desired.

The problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.

I just finished "Drive 4 Dough" and I have to say, it was fantastic. Having seen a few clips of the video ahead of time, I knew it was going to be enjoyable, but I really had no idea as to what the overall format and scope would be. As a longtime Monte student who's seen him in person multiple times and seen pretty much all of his YouTube videos, here's a few thoughts from my perspective:

Drive 4 Dough is a one stop shop for understanding the swing. With roughly 4 hours of material there's something for everyone, including those of you who feel like you've seen all of Monte's stuff and read all of his posts, and think that there's nothing else to gain by getting the video. The descriptions of setup, swing faults, misconceptions, and proper mechanics are comprehensive and unmatched anywhere.

For me, there was a lot of material that I knew already, but the explanations were different enough from previous iterations that some things clicked that previously hadn't. Lightbulbs definitely went off. Even though the video focuses on the driver, the information applies cohesively throughout the bag.

For me, Part I was very much a review of the swing in general with a few things clicking with new descriptions, like I said. Part II is really what I thought where I personally saw the most benefit. I particularly liked the sections on Speed vs Effort, the LW Speed Drill, and the portion on course management.

Video wise, the production value was terrific, well worth the wait. I downloaded the 1080p version and it's awesome. The graphics are sweet, the cinematography was impressive without being overpowering, and overall the video gives off a very professional vibe.

At ~4 hours it's a lot to watch. I pretty much binge watched it save for a few short breaks. My advice would be to watch it that way and take notes to go back to, or watch it in segments. I'm going to go back to re-watch sections that I found relevant to my swing. There's a ton of information to take in but remember you're not supposed to apply it all to your personal swing. Pick a few things that apply to you and go from there.

Favorite quote: "Well, then tee it up in the middle and make sure you hit it straight."

Definitely get this video. Well worth the price of admission.

Is Vancouver close enough to warrant an exception? Closer to you than the east coast of the US, and loonies are cheap these days.

Not that it matters much. I never win these things.
