No. You just have to have an account. I think it's random. Some people say purchase history is a factor, but I haven't seen that to be the case.

I did get a reservation. I bought them. Now I’m able to buy as many pairs as I want? In any size? Any of you other guys who got a reserve able to go back in and get as many pairs as you wish? This is what I’m curious about.

The purchase/add to bag button is gone for me. Replaced with “share”. If I want another pair off Nike, I would have to dry on NDC desktop on Friday.

You may be able to add it to your cart but when you checkout it doesn't allow you to complete the purchase when you submit the order.

Any news on more colorways of the 5? It’s probably one of my least favorite Js, but I’m intrigued by what an OG black/metallic silver colorway would look like.

I do think they did a good job with the golf version of these. Similar to the 11. Much better than the 9!

I've been a member since 2014 and have never received a reservation for any shoe....I have no idea why this is the case and I have no idea how I would get a reservation....

Only other rumored colorway so far is Black Grape but would assume three general release and four limited majors colorways like the 11s.

I'm happy to have these but assume these will feel more like the 3s than the 11s re: comfort.

I hadn’t caught up on the reservation news, so didn’t check NDC until a friend texted me about it. Turns out I got one but when I checked all that’s left is Men’s 6.5 and smaller, oh well not that upset because I’m not sure if I would wear them on the course.

When you get the “reservation” it means it went out to enough people to sell the pre-release out. So when you get the pre-buy, you need to buy them quickly. It’s basically a game of musical chairs.

 

To others that “have never gotten a reservation”, how much do you spend at Nike? The more you buy the more data they have the more pre-buys you get. I didn’t purchase my last pre-buy, some horrible 1’s on a regular release, so I doubted I was getting this one, and didn’t. Which is sad, for me. I was actually going to wear these instead of flip them. :)

I have never had a reservation of any type in the Nike App in the 3 years I've had it. No luck this time either. I spend about $2k per year on the app on mostly golf stuff.

I search for ndc in the App Store and online and I don’t see anything. I have the Nike app but no clue what the NDC is or stands for.
