I've putted with a 2 ball for a many years so the big sight-line will not bother me.

How much do you think it would cost to add a #6 slant neck?

If you want to convert a double bend model to a slant neck, there's obviously a cost for that, and you'd have to add the cost of refinishing too if you want that color, or any color for that matter.. The welding of a slant neck would require removing the face insert to avoid melting it, and refinishing of the head afterwards.

 

So, you might as well start with a Spider S Slant - same size head. Plenty of people are blacking those out, no reason why they couldn't be refinished in red instead.

There are slant neck/no sightline versions out there. I wonder if these will come to retail as well....

I would have liked a slant neck with the line. How the red version is more $ is beyond me. Perhaps more for the black shaft?

Taylormade is making 15,000 Red and Black and only 2,000 Red thus it's considered limited I hope the shaft is Black!

If these finishes are as susceptible to chipping and flaking as their ghost putter paint, TM will have a tough go of it. Hopefully these finishes are better.

 

I wonder how many warranty complaints TM got about the white ghost paint on their putters.

Yeah I picked up a Black/Red version. I was looking forward to a slant version too, but decided to get this version as well. When I was talking to the Rep from DD's he noted that these were selling very well, with the All Red selling out on Day 1.
