I bought a used set of Miura irons one winter and polished them all up just to sell them because I had convinced myself I wasn't good enough to pay them by spring. I'm a sick man. 😅

No, just one large bin in the basement of drivers, wedges and putters I can’t pull the trigger on. Plus two sets of blades (gave another to one son). Then the two Ping Eye 2 sets I will never give away or sell. Plus the Ping ISI set I never liked and for some reason I can’t remember I built with graphite shafts, which I hate in irons.  I keep meaning to give those away but never get around to it.
 

Then the recent, now fired, newer set - Callaway Apex Pros that my pro and golfing buddy somehow talked me into (wasn’t hard, I’m easy) which didn’t work for me. There was some kind of “trampoline” effect off the face, my 7 iron range was 140-180. And didn’t like the too modern game improvement look.

 

Finally my current set, which I love, Ping i210’s. 
 

Don’t see me changing anytime some.   No, really.

There’s beauty there too, at least industrial. Nothing looks or feels better than a Snap-On wrench in your hand. Perfection. Esp if set is given from granddad. 

 

Anyway, I’m a big fan of the old Skill Saw worm drive saws. The two I have were used to frame my basement and space over the garage, and later I build my workshop with them. I have plenty (trust me) of newer pretenders, many cordless, which are well used but none top the old ones. 

I am not really that good of a carpenter. Now on tools I have a bunch of wrenches and stuff from my mechanic days. In fact I have a huge Matco tool box over in the building across the street full of tools and large impacts. If the truth is known probably 20 to 30K worth of stuff at today's prices. I really need to sell that stuff since I do not see myself turning wrenches again on big trucks. In my club shop behind the house I have 2 roll around boxes full of hand air and power tools I have accumulated over the years. Back when I turned wrenches every Black Friday I would be at Sears for the annual sale. I have like packs of wrenches I have had for 30 years that have never been used or open. I am finally in good enough shape when the weather gets warm I plan to sell the stuff for what I can get for it. I also plan to sell some of the golf clubs and bags I have in there too. I am tired of paying rent on that building every month. As it is now I have not cracked the door on that unit in 4 months now

Considering this week was the first time I've used the snow blower this year it hasn't been a bad winter. Gotta complain when I get the chance though.

Spot on Rad. Like 🦆 tape eluded to, a beautiful set of MB blades def fits that bill for me. A beautiful Damascus sword or a maple baseball that looks more like furniture than a bat also come to mind. My tools, not so much, but get it. I could also hang a rifle like the one below on the wall like art and admire it. No judgments right 😊

That’s my fault. I decided to go out at 830 in 15 mph winds and 36 degree temps and play.  
 

3rd round since beginning of November.    I apologized to my playing partners , I’m convinced that the weather is worse if I try to play a round.   🤣.

Yeah, that's pretty enough to hang on the wall but tools were made to be used.

Ha, I just ordered a new Driver for my birthday and have no issues with the one I have and like you I do not like the APEX pro irons, bought the combo set with the pro 4-7 and hate them. Love the CB's from 8-11, so the dilemma is do I just sell the set or wait for the newer stuff to come and trade them in. 

I don't  really like to try and sell on ebay, they take a chunk so it pretty much it ends up the same value to trade them back to Callaway.
