Since that's, ya know, not too uncommon to hear my automatic response is just "Hey, thanks man" without even really acknowledging. Till I look at the dude and it's Kiefer. Dude's been one of my favorite actors since I was a kid (c'mon, Lost Boys, Young Guns I & II, Flatliners) so I was all "Whoa, what's up man?"

 

Wound up hanging out after hours and talking guitars (dude's a hardcore collector). Then just started seeing him all the time.

Yup! Lived about a block away from it for about a year and a half and was very much a regular. Marty & Elayne were good friends - was real sad when Marty passed away a couple years ago.

 

 

And fun fact about the spot I was living ... it was Robert Disney's old house. Where ol' Walt first lived when he moved to LA and the home of the original Disney studio!

My problem is I'm so oblivious that unless there was a sign saying who she was I wouldn't have known her.😁 I just don't pay a lot of attention to people unless they look a little shifty.

I was in The Bahamas for a convention and low and behold Tito's is having their Company retreat at the same Hotel.

All Tito's drinks were free for the 3 nights I was there,  all the people I met were very nice and most quite drunk by 10-11 pm. The fact at the time I was drinking Tito's and Soda made it even more fun.

When I think Kiefer Sutherland my mind instantly goes to the video of him in the hotel lobby jumping onto the Christmas tree! Word is a lot of whiskey was involved. Dude definitely likes to get drink on.

With one exception, I always left celebs in peace during my travels.  Most were expectedly approached by at least a few people, but I always gave them a little space.  Maybe I feared saying or doing something disastrously stupid.    That plan failed on one occasion.

 

Waited for push-back from the gate for a long time this one morning.  Had a tight connecting window and was getting anxious.  Captain announces from the flight deck what's up with the delay and closes by saying, "And congratulations to Rusty Wallace for yesterday's Coca-cola 600 victory."

 

I turn to the guy next to me and say, "Who gives a smelly crap about Rusty Wallace?  Let's get this show on the road."  He replies, "Yea, let's get going."  

 

Mid-flite the as FA is dispensing drinks and snacks, she looks at the same guy and says, "Congratulations again, Mr. Wallace.  Great to have you onboard."  

 

Nowhere to run. Got no parachute.  Can't rewind tape.  Still get the willies when recalling it.

I seem to adjust to faster greens better than going form fast to slow ones. (awkward sentence). Our winter greens are very slow right now and have two alternating pin placements. To make putts they have to have plenty of speed or they fall off of the line. Fast and true makes more putts for me.

Going to answer this as it might apply to courses I play, their turf, normal rainfall, and typical pin placements,     

 

Worser - at first.  Dramatically so.

 

More better with time.  Dramatically so.  

 

How about you?
