Not Hend. He could have been a serious threat, has had a super year. And he certainly has the power to get within reasonable distance to those greens, a great driver of the ball.

Ive seen a bit of Hend over the years and I can assure you he doesnt have the short game for a course like Oakmont. Not knocking him as he is a super ball striker and certainly has the game to earn a place in the field, but not win it around there.

I'm not sure what you mean by "big name bombers". Day is #20 in distance.

 

BTW, Day is #47 in strokes gained off the tee. McIlroy is #1 and Spieth is #19. It will be interesting to see how they do this week.
