Rory didn't bother to come into Oakmont prior to arriving before the tourney on Monday and he says that he did his "homework" by going onto the USGA's site on Saturday evening while at the Memorial and looking at the videos of the hole by hole fly overs and "studying" the still pictures.

 

Yea, that worked out real well ;)

 

Also, regardless of the final outcome, I believe that the course has held it's own and there are no "cheap" gimme birdies.

 

These guys have to work and earn every bird or better that they get.

 

Ya can't ask more of a course.
