Yeah, that white bow tie kills it. They didn't do that with the women's blue colorway, for once the men's is uglier.

i imagine that the customs are just airbrushed (like what those dudes use who make t-shirt caricatures). prob not too hard to do if you have the equipment. assuming you have the skill if you have the equipment

The Blue Jay / Solar Red are on golf poser. Says out of stock but the pictures make it for a darker blue than the pictures we've seen so far. Definitely liking it more. I wonder if I can color the pink swoosh outside to something darker. Hmmm....

Not a huge fan of those, and I am not sure why they feel the need to keep using random bright colors for the swooshes. Neutral color swooshes would make these wearable with much more.

This is the truth. Why do they insist on adding random blotches of color (I'm looking at you, laser orange on the armory blue) that you can't coordinate with anything else? Yes, it looks great in a vacuum, but its impossible to make it look right with anything else.

I agree on their stuff being very specific for looks and outfits, works for the pros but not so much for amateurs that have to buy their entire wardrobe.

I just did some research on airbrushing. Are these synthetic leather? or not even? I believe you have to acetone the color off first before you can paint on it. It would be awesome to just paint the swoosh of the wolf grey to another color, either dark grey or Navy / blue. Has anyone ever done this or know of people that do it to golf shoes? I'm guessing its different than standard sneakers, since golf shoes are supposed to be water proof. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

 

Edit: Just found out my brother in law paints leather / faux leather on sneakers. Will be bugging him on what to do. Dark grey / Grey for the Lava Glow Swoosh! for my Green LCV pair, good bye Max Orange swoosh! If I get those blue ones, i'll just black / darken the swoosh out too! :) Will post results of this once I start the project. Excited to say the least.

Curious: While wearing the LCVs in the cart, they fit fine in my normal size. I walked 18 yesterday for the first time in forever and my toes were touching the top of the shoe. Swelling of the feet? Should I go up a half size?

Shoe is the most comfortable I've worn, it fades pretty quickly though. My swoosh has gone from the red/pink to white in a matter of a month

Walked 18 yesterday and my feet felt fresh without any pressure or aches. The spikes are holding up just fine with no real wear. I'd def. be interested to see what fabric pens work well to color in the swoosh.

I was cleaning my LCV's last night and noticed that on the left foot, part of the "bow tie" was starting to peel off. If you were to draw a line going straight down from the top eyelet to the "bow tie" area it was maybe a 1/4" spot peeling away. Anyone else have this problem? Will it effect the waterproofing? I'm considering contacting Nike about it, but since I haven't played in them yet, I may wait and see if there's any adverse effect on performance.
