So my bro in law wasn't that keen on painting the swooshes as he never did a flat surface. First attempt was decent. We're going to try to touch it up. My wife has a steadier hand so she'll be taking over the project. I have two more LCV pairs to paint. (Blue and green pair). Can't wait!

not bad. i imagine it's pretty tough to get the edges perfect. did you go right over the top of the lava or did you use some acetone to take the lava off first? and you said you were brushing it on old school and not airbrushing, right?

Did the exact same thing. Then after my first round with them our greens keeper told me I shouldn't wear them at the course anymore because of the train tracks they leave on the greens.

Man its a damn shame that the greens keeper has to do his job and maintain the greens through normal play.

These marks are not permanent and do no more damage to the greens than regular soft spikes unless one was to purposely drag their feet.

I will say I am careful to pick my feet up but still notice the immediate marks these shoes put on greens. I feel a little guilty walking around in them but can tell you there are VERY comfortable, supportive, and lightweight so a perfect walking shoe IMO.

This is exactly why I gave up on mine...no matter what I tried they always left marks. And since I usually tee off in one of the first two groups if the day it's even more noticeable.

Saw them on Nike.com for a real good deal, the grey ones and green ones for 100 bucks plus another 20 percent off. I was only traveling though and couldn't buy them with my overseas card!!! So sad but oh well. Don't really need more golf shoes but at that price I couldn't say no LOL. Too bad couldn't execute. I tried them on at nike town and they did make a weird bending crack sound. Not sure if it was flexing at the toe box area or the "fins" on the wood/concrete floor. But very comfortable in the short test walk to a mirror. I like the fit better than the lunar command 2 boa.

Anyone else notice on the right shoe, right side, just where the bow tie begins, an audible pop when walking in stride sometimes? Like it's in the footbed or on the side of the shoe?

Mine do it once in a while, it's really strange. Still probably one of the best shoes.

Just got my pair and wore them for 54 holes this past weekend (wouldn't recommend that btw) and I noticed the popping on the pavement. I think it's one of the ridges getting flexed and returning during the stride and when it scratches on the pavement.

54 holes in 2 days. Walked all 3 btw. By the 3rd round I couldn't hit the side of a barn.
