Joggers?

I often wear my Nike Running joggers to the range and for practice rounds (I mostly play in the early afternoon when it's empty so I don't care) and I noticed that both Nike and Puma have "dress joggers" now. What's the consensus on those? Would I be a ****** to wear them when playing for real or nah?

I wouldn't wear them, but I think they looks fine. You should go for it. There are a lot of guys here that think everyone should be dressing like DLIII or they will say something about joggers being women's pants.

I've rocked my joggers a few times when playing. They're the Nike Oxford and I love them, and wear them pretty often even when I'm not on the course. That being said, I'm 22 and have a 32 inch waist. YMMV.

I think I'm going to get a pair of the Uniqlo Oxfords and wear them in the winter for rounds and see how I like them. They are "dressy" but a lot cheaper than the Nike ones. I don't know if I could fork over that kind of money for pants I'm not sure I will even like. If I like the Uniqlo ones I'll probably splurge on the Nike ones.

 

I also think they look better with high top shoes so I'm going to pick up some Nike Flyknit Chukkas to pair them with.

I like the jogger look but never owning a pair other than sweatpants do they fit like regular pants, like would I order the same length I would in normal pants?

If Adam Scott, and, Rickie Fowler can wear them, I think you would be alright to wear them. I have no problem wearing them.

I play with a lot of older guys that dress very conservatively. I'm prepared to tell them it's a throwback to plus 4's.

My biggest issue with joggers...is they don't come in different inseams. It's like a "one size fits all" model. And let me tell you, as someone with an inseam shorter than 28"...these things just get super super bunched up around the ankle and look very sloppy. And being the style, you can't really get them hemmed to correct length.

On the other end of the spectrum, I have a 34" inseam, and some of the joggers I've tried on end up looking like capris.

 

I only have a couple pairs of sweat pants for light workouts and lounging around the house. I can't do a dressier jogger... Looks fine on others... just don't like the look for me.

ya have the build for them but; when someone is pushin 36 waist line and 25 over weight jogger and skinny jeans don't get it .

I got a pair from Uniqlo when I was in Japan. I haven't worn them yet. It's been summer thus far. Winter is coming...

In store. You won't find them online for less than $130 (from NDC at least) for several months.

I tried on both the Oxford joggers and the Modern joggers at the Nike store in Chicago, and I liked the way the Modern look and fit much better. And they retail for only $95 instead of $130.

Are we talking, like, legit capris? Or just rolled/cuffed pants? Because I roll all my pants to above my ankle.
