I'm actually looking forward to watching how Tiger 5.0 (can't be sure of the number as I've lost count) handles himself over what is sure to be a tough South Course, while playing with two studs. He'll pay a big price if he misses too many fairways. Nice that he gets the North Course first.

He doesn't. They are off the South Course Thursday, North on Friday.

 

Thanks for clearing that up. Tough start then for Tiger as the South will be a beast this week. The rough is lush and the fairways are soft.

I was out there today for the Pro-am.

 

The course is soft and receptive with very punishing wet and heavy rough even for the pros. I wish i has a photo of an approach Justine Rose had at 15 from the left rough. There was limited crown so I was very close. He laughed about the lie and said no chance. He hit a solid hybrid really low on the right line landing short but it did not run up on the green. He turned and commented to me that any other course that would have run up. That speaks to the softness of the course and how they will have to play it. Really cool interaction with one of the best.....

 

Another note was following Beef for a little bit. That guy was so cool and was very gracious with his time taking photos and signing for me and my buddy during the roudn.

I'll be in a suite on the 18th hole on Saturday, open bar top shelf liquor and food can't wait ! The rough is going to be brutal with all the rain we've had, on a normal day it's almost impossible to hit from....going to try to get out there Friday afternoon as well if I can escape from work !

I saw this commercial on the Golf Channel. Pretty neat, but Tiger does have a weirdly blank stare most of the time. Letting everyone know he is barely amused and he's better than them.

So we have PGA Tour Live, PGA Tour Live Twitter, the Golf Channel, and PGA Tour Pregame - none of which show Tiger's first 4 holes. I know all of these spots are contractual times and you can't just move things around for Tiger, but I think this is one reason the Tour wants their own TV station.
