I just follow their instructions and stand behind cart when going up hills. I'm not sure I want to add additional bars to the system. IMO it doesn't look good.

My ewheels doesn't go to top speed once the battery indicator is down to 2 lights. The fastest it goes when there are 2 lights left is just one speed above the slowest. Is anyone else having this problem?

Nope, sorry. The only issue I've experienced is the rubber piece on one of side of one of the clamps fell off this weekend. Otherwise, it continues to perform well for me, but I'll continue to monitor and post any issues.

Turning with fixed front wheels is not an issue on my Caddytek. Some people's opinions are a little silly. This is a great product!

I've been using it with my CG 3.5 since last October/November. It turns just fine, but more easily on grass or wet pavement than drive pavement. And it turns easier at a lower speed. It has been a game changer for me on the hilly course I regularly play - one of my top 3 golf purchases. Now, if they would just get the anti-wheelie bars to market ...

I don't think I've ever played 27 with it, but have no problem with 18 - after I make the turn, it stays on 2 lights for the rest of the round with no issues regarding the battery.

I've gone 36 on my courses with no problem. Very flat courses. As mentioned above, once it hits 2 lights, they stay on for a very long time. I usually don't get to the last light until I have hit 27 holes. Not much juice left at end of 36 though.

Just try and mate it to the Rovic Swivel. Fixed wheel front wheel is cumbersome and leads to a faster battery drain.

It's not cumbersome or a cause of faster battery drain. I have mine on a 4 wheel cart and its no problem at all. Just read above comments and you'll see what kind of performance I am getting.

My experiences differ greatly and the reason for my post. I've owned both the swivel and a sun mountain 3 wheel speed cart. The response, and turning radius are abysmal in wet or on grass with any height with the fixed wheel version of the cart I had. At my home course and in my use case, the battery now also lasts longer since making the move to the swivel model. I was an original KS backer and have been using it since I received it last fall.

 

What other cart frames have you paired the ewheels with out of curosity?

I have the Caddytek One V4 which is superlight. Doesn't have the turning radius of a Rovic swivel obviously, but it in no way is it cumbersome and made me think of getting a new cart. Plus, I have a light bag and never carry a bunch of needless junk in it. Battery as I've mentioned is outstanding.

This past weekend on the last three holes I experienced the right wheel not keeping up with the left, causing it to pull in that direction. Hopefully being shut off for a week will reset it so both turn at the same speed again. That is the first problem I've had - otherwise it's been great.

 

Update: Used it Wednesday evening and the different wheel speed issue was there for the first few holes but then it began to work perfectly again. I'll be playing this afternoon and tomorrow morning to see if it continues to work okay or have problems.

I emailed Alex and Andrew about my continuing right wheel issues. They immediately sent me a new motor (apparently some of the very early models may have this issue). But when I attempted to install it, I broke the Allen Screws holding the motor onto the wheel. I again contacted Andrew and he immediately sent out a new wheel and Allen Screws. Great customer service.

 

Also, I just found on the Alphard Golf website that the anti-wheelie bars and new brackets are available and I ordered a set for my CG.

Set mine up last night, taking it out tomorrow. Anyone know how to remove the brake off the Bag Boy Quad XL? Only thing I could find online was to remove an external line, where the XL in internal.

Two rounds in and love the ewheels. For the price it is hard to beat. A lot of guys stop and asked to check it out.

 

The range with the remote is really good. Good top end speed as well. Easy to set up and use.

 

My only complaint is mine seems to want to go left, I am going to look into this more, could be a weight issue with my bag. Not a complaint but part of my learning curve, it doesn't turn as well when going top speed, easy fix, slow it down and turn,

Check the alignment of your cart. Many of us had to adjust ours as well.

After receiving and installing the anti-wheelie bars I finally got to test them out today and they worked great on some pretty steep hills. They worked as advertised and I recommend them.
