I think you'll be very happy with the head cover. I have a couple from pre-odyssey days. I think the special addition ones they've done for the majors have been premium.

After some back issues last week, back in play this week with LI Garage and it didn't disappoint 3 birdies on the back nine for a 37 to go with a 39 front. One birdie was 2 putt birdie of good drive on par 5 and solid shot to 20ft. Other 2 were really nice at 12' + !! Loving the solidity of this putter from everywhere!!

nowhere local. and i wanted a different grip that was no upcharge, and i also got 3.5% back on ebates by ordering through callaway. oh well. i got other new putters recently anyway. can't use them all at once!

I had initially ordered it 7/6, but then had second thoughts about a couple of my choices, so I cancelled that order on 7/11 and placed a new one the same day.

 

The putter is here in Austin as of late last night. Hoping it will be delivered early today instead of tomorrow.

 

Edit: I should note that mine won't look very different from my stock Austin, so don't get too excited.

25g weight in the and that's it.

 

Although I've already pulled the stock grip, epoxied the 25g weight in place and put a Golf Pride SNSR grip on.

 

First round with it will be on Sunday.

I just ordered a San Diego through Golf Galaxy so I could test it out before spending the cash to customize through Toulon Garage. I thought I was ordering the latest version, but I was sent a Toulon San Diego before they were purchased by Odyssey. Does anyone know if this is the exact same putter, grip, and headcover before they started making them under Odyssey? I want to make sure I'm testing exactly what I would end up ordering via the Garage.

 

Other than that, I guess only downside would be lower resale value once I sell and upgrade to a Garage version?

Great thanks guys. I have the stock grip (not SS), so that should be same. And could care less about the name engraving on the weight plate. Loving it so far!
