Cameron charges $72. No biggie, if you can't afford, don't get it. Just like anything else in life.

If someone is buying a $700 putter they can afford $50 in paint fill. The issue people have is the 1000% markup on testers paint. Cameron is much worse but that brand is well established and has an army of loyal followers that pay $5k for circle T putters. Toulon will be a successful line for Odyssey and i'm sure at some point i'll grab one. I look forward to seeing what they add over the next year in terms of customization and models.

Considering they have to do "stock" paintfill anyway, it seems like a blatant money grab. And just because Cameron gouges more for it, doesn't make this $50 OK.

Should have clarified. I just meant after countless pages of criticism on the website that I look forward to seeing more custom putters that are built. I think it's a great service they are providing. Your putter looks fantastic.

Is the toe hang info listed anywhere for some of the new necks? For example, H8 (short slant) and H9 (long slant)?

According to the Specs on Long Island, H6 is 50 and Madison , H8 is 45. But the H6 is Flow and H8 is slant. Not sure on H9, could be more like 30-35*. Longer neck, less toe hang usually.

I think you're right, that's probably roughly what they are. I'm surprised H8 is only 45 though - same as H1 - because H8 looks shorter. Might be optical illusion.

Does anyone know how dark the rose gold is? The pictures from Twitter on page one look darker, which I like. The gold that some brands are is much lighter than those pics appear. I was sold on black this time but like the gold as well. It would be nice if I could physically see one. Hmm, another Rochester but with my preferred flow neck will be in the bag soon. But what color.

You know what would be sweet? A Toulon fitting cart with the three color heads and various hosels.

Feel like I'm on candid camera. Is the website really working for you guys? Why does it not work for me? LOL

For me it's more difficult on a mobile. Use a PC and it's quite good really.

Works great for me - google chrome on a PC worked up a Latrobe in about 5 minutes.

Though much is taken much abides;
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I now know why the charge for paint fill is what it is (tongue in cheek)

I changed the paint fill in my Rio San Diego last night. I have done this on irons, woods, putters, wedges dozens of times in the past and have never come across the difficulty I had removing the original paint fill last night. I mean this in the most complimentary way possible. I used acetone and it took forever because the original paint application was off the charts in terms of quality. They must do about 10 layers of paint because the paint would survive a nuclear attack it was in there so good. I ended up just doing everything in white just to change things up and can't wait to get it back on the course. Love. This. Putter.

(although the long island is calling my name.....)

aarrggghhh-this close to hitting add to cart. I need a samples cart at the store in the worst way. Looking at the Toulon Instagram and Twitter some of the rose gold finishes almost look like a light brown chocolate. Like a slightly patina'd copper which would be perfect and some look way to shiny light gold for my tastes. If it is that light I would go with the black pearl or even standard finish.

Has anyone been able to do any stamping? I am trying to do another Rochester and get no stamping options.

Edit-I also do not see a "contact us" on the garage site. There is a new Superstroke grip I am guessing they will add soon? The Pistol GTR Tour. Similar to the current Pistol GT Tour but no counter balance port.

I am on the same page with you...it is impassible to tell from the instagram pics. I asked them last year what the 'true' color was, and they said it was more similar to the lighter pics, not the darker ones (which I also like better).

I don't think they are marking up the paint cost to get to the price they are at. More than likely they figure their hourly rate is $100 per hour and it takes a half hour, same thing for Cameron but his hourly rate is higher. So when you consider that they feel their time is worth $100 per hour than their rate seems reasonable to me.

People forget that anytime this type of subject comes up. We read posts all the time about how there is only $50 worth of product in a $500 driver. Forget the R&D, tooling, labor, packaging,shipping......

Great points. And again, these are being assembled by the Tour guys. I am sure their attention to detail is better than normal assembly.

Ordered a San Francisco to game.

I still need to order my Latrobe but I cannot decide on the finish. This will be strictly for my AP collection in my mancave. Guys, which finish do you think would look best for the the Latrobe? Tour Satin, Black Pearl or Rose gold?

Black body, rose gold face and satin bottom or black your call.

Black shaft with a best grip black leather grip with gold stitching.
