Recently had a Titliest clubfit. They only had an evenflow for the hybrid and I was spinning it too much but I am a steep high spin player. The Tensei felt a bit light. My best results were with an Atmos Blue. Felt so smooth and stable and the ball flight was really consistent.

Did you hit the Tensei White 90? That's actually heavier than the Evenflow. I found much better results with the Evenflow in the driver over the Atmos and without an opportunity to get fit, I'm ordering blind and hoping it works out.

Had a chance to hit a t1100 and evenflow black, both 75g 6.5 in my new m2 head

T1100 was about 1/3 higher flight.

i'd say they launched about the same -- not really a difference.

I'd say they launched about the same as well. If anything, Even Flow is just a touch higher. However it's a lot easier to elevate shots on Even Flow than it is with T1100.

I found the same. My EF 65 Black 6.5 is tipped 1" and my 65 T1100 6.5 is straight in, and I found the Even Flow still launches a touch higher and spins a touch more. Just from hitting them side by side on the course, I picked up a good 10+ yards with the Even Flow and it's just as straight. Needless to say my T1100 is not seeing any game time now.

Still loving my Even Flow Blue. I have a lot more confidence with my driver now than I did with the HZRDUS Yellow (which I also loved). The feel is just great...stable but very smooth. I don't think it has drastically improved my driving accuracy but has made it more consistent. While I'd love to be more accurate, I will take increased consistency all day long. Hit 5 of 7 fairways on the front nine the other day which is much better than my norm. Got a little loose on the back 9 and had some really bad swings (two bad pushes that ended up OB) but kept it in play the other holes.

Very similar performance (launch and spin) but the EF Black just feels a little better in my opinion. It's a bit firmer in the hands but gain the feel of where the club head is in the mid section, which is what I prefer. All while keeping spin down with the stiff tip.

 

It seems you and I have pretty similar taste in shafts :good:

 

Now off to my practice round for my Mid-am qualifier! Although it got postponed from this coming tuesday to the 19th because of the hurricane will be getting into Atlanta on tuesday and is supposed to be steady rain with 25-30mph winds haha.

have a green xtorsion 70TX in the bag tonight to rival the even flow. pics to come, hopefully get some flightscope #'s this week as well.

 

The Green 70TX is awesome - tried Tcann32's when I went to MN and played with him and Rebby. Got amazing flight with a BBA head, and he launches it with his SZ. That's a killer spin-reducing machine - if I leaned back like 5*, I might get enough launch to negate the ridiculously low spin.

 

I'm really interested in trying the Even Flows - I'm especially wanting to try the Black 65. The Black 85 is a no-charge option on the Titleist 818 hybrids, and my interest is very peaked.

I am still loving my 65S Black. Sat I birdied the opening 535 yd PAR 5 twice from just in front of the green. That makes it 3 birdies and 1 par so far on that hole since I switched to Even Flow, and twice I had only a 4 iron left from 220 & 230 for approach. The last one I actually ran out of fairway with the tee shot.

 

I had previously NEVER able to birdie that particular hole.. go figure.

i asked that to a pro yesterday -- he said he wasn't 100% positive. i hit the blue in a driver and it was really good -- but still think it'd be a better place in a fairway.

I got an even flow black 75 a week ago and this is by far the best feeling shaft I have hit in a long time. I have played all the HZRDUS shafts in the past year and always felt like I had to really throttle them, but with the even flow I just make a smooth swing and it goes.
