Just got the Even Flow Black for the Epic.

 

Love the Sub Zero but I’m still hitting it a little high (the peak is killing my roll out). The atmos got it down but not enough.

 

I go to Even Flow Black and the trajectory has flattened. I’m getting roll out but the forgiveness was gone. So here is where things get interesting.

 

With the Even Flow I went to a more forgiving head and even though it’s a higher launching head the trajectory is still great!

 

Oh and of course the paint and feel or unmatched right now by anything out there!

Any thoughts on how different the black shaft is compared to the Tensei Orange V3?

i don't believe anyone gave a view on this, but i would be very interested as well

I thought of the Even flow blue and black to mimic the white and blueboard profiles, with better feel and a bit less spin regardless of blue or black. The blue imo is great for a lot of golfers, specifically driver, but ideal for most in a fairway. The black is best for those on the more aggressive side from the top. Overall they're both excellent with regards to feel and stability

if i loved Blue in my driver, but wanted a lower more penetrating flight on 3w, would the black do that for me?

and could i handle it with only a mid 90"s 3 wood swing speed?

have an Fuji Evo 3 stiff in there now that gives me a flight i desire - looking for something smoother and more powerful

what sort of tipping are you guys doing for the blue?

Playing DC TX in my m2 right now and it just doesnt spin enought (works great in the 917)

I want to try the blue in it to give it a touch more spin. Thoughts?

they're quite different than the black tie. best match (if you'd call it one) is the even flow black. it will feel better and spin less than your black tie.

Anybody tell me the difference between the HZRDUS T800 and T1100? I have the 800 in my Epic Sub Zero and I think I had the T1100 in my Epic 3 wood but it is long gone. I hit my driver well but it's almost impossible to hit a draw with it.

 

I recently tested a Cobra F7+ with a HZRDUS Yellow 65g, 6.0 low spin shaft and was impressed. I have the 76g yellow in my F7 3 wood. Which of the Even Flows would you say were closest to the Yellow driver shaft? There are a few hand crafted on eBay I've got my eye on, 65g, 6.0, stiff, Blue and Black.

Currently gaming the Aldila Tour Blue in an f7+. Almost can't miss fairways with it, but would love an extra 10y. Launching 13-16 depending on what I'm trying to do, and spinning around 2700 @ 150-155ish mph.

 

Anyone wanna take a swag at what my spin would be with EvenFlow Black or Blue, and what your basing that guess on?

Yea I know. Problem is Flightscope would tell you there isn't a big diff between 2000 spin and 2700 in carry or total at these ball speeds. Trackman and the dudes I follow on youtube (gc2, gcquad) say there is a HUGE difference. So I go back and forth on if a shaft change is worth it.

 

Shaft would probably be worth it based on feel alone. Ill have to find one to hit somewhere.
