Aren't the TGR irons made by Artisan golf? I understand that is the guy's new company from Nike that he is running from the Oven in Texas. I think eventually he will be playing these Artisan irons and wedges however they are stamped. His other clubs will be Taylormade, Driver, fairway, utility/driving iron. I think this was kind of stated above, but I am re-stating it because I agree. It's my belief that the guy behind Artisan is his "man" and he has trust and confidence with him to get his irons and wedges exactly the way he desires.

 

TGR irons were made by Nike right before they shut down the oven. As for the Artisan guys, they are the best so understandable if tiger wants them to make his irons and wedges

I think someone from Nike confirmed that the TGR blades were made for him before Nike left the business, so yes, VR Pros. As far as the ball, Bridgestone’s website has him playing the new XS, and they are giving away 6 dozen XS signed by him on Twitter. Doesn’t exactly mean he’s moved to it, but they did say that he would be involved in future products from an R&D standpoint when he signed with them. I would think that he’ll be in the XS, but we won’t have to wait long to figure out.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Tiger “working with Taylormade” to get his iron and wedge design was actually “Tiger working with Mike Taylor, getting the right shape and feel, then Taylormade gets a copy of the final product, then sends it off to China to mass produce”.

Exactly. And only if they plan to sel to the public does it get sent to china. Tiger isn't playing justin Rose blades. Even the chrome is different on Tigers irons. ( scratch your head. Go ahead. Lol).

Fully expect to see the 16 M2 driver this week. Think he will 2017 fairway woods. Likely TGR irons and Nike wedges.

Interesting if he still has Nike branding on the wedges, when he has taken it off the wedges

I think apt of people like looking down on the 17 more, but I think the Geocoustic whatever makes it worse. Sound/feel of the original is much better. Numbers are pretty similar for me, but I have the 17.
