Artisan Golf Wedges- Mike Taylor and the old "Oven" crew that made Tiger's clubs

Well picked my putter up yesterday! Love this thing. It really turned out amazing, I was nervous about the gold paint fill kinda because I didnt want it to just be yellow, but John and the guys at Artisan killed it. Also shoutout to Bestgrips for the headcover!

 

The feel off this thing is crazy good, I haven't used a blade ever really, always used some sort of 1W or mallet so going to take some time to get acquainted with this putter. But I got out and played 9 with it yesterday and shot a 41 with 15 putts on the front. Overall what I have noticed with this putter is on long putts I am not struggling as much with the pace, John really wanted to get the weight right for me and we have found the sweet spot and knocking some long putts close.

 

The grip will also take some time to get used to. Its a Bestgrips perforated grip, pretty tacky, the details on it are amazing but might have to switch it out to something a little bigger don't know yet.

 

Here are some pics of it and one with John using it. From the distance he went 2 for 3 and I went 0 for 3........ I told him I would sell him a nice putter :rofl:

was down at Artisan on Friday. Awesome set up they have and MT might be one of the funniest guys I have ever talked to. Killed a case of miller hit a bunch of wedge shots and rolled putters with John. Wedges should be in the works soon. Ended up going Square 46 50 54 and an R Grind 59

Artisan is an incredibly classy place, doing all they can to deal with meteoric demand.

 

I inquired about a wedge, got a very nice note and inquiry form to fill out. Am sure that they help me get just what I want as soon as possible.

I really would love to get one of their putters. I love my Nike 006 proto but worried about the black inserts lasting. Figure it’s about time to put it back in the box and move to a similar putter. However, I don’t use Facebook or Instigram so it looks like I’m out of luck in getting a putter through them.

Yeah we all have a ton in common with the 2nd greatest player that ever picked up a club

 

We also play very similar conditions for all our rounds

 

We should all mimic his bag makeup

Exactly! I play low bounce on hard fairways in Texas.

It's not all about bounce. Leading edge height most important. Leading edge on those might not be what you think.
