Getting closer. Pretty sure mike finalized the forgings last week. 17 different raws to be able to build with.

yea, I ordered the mallet. these covers were ordered a while back, head covers and alignment stick cover made by Patrick Gibbons Handmade and putter cover made by AME.

Hey don’t be afraid to throw in a humble brag. I was ready for a complete rebuild and you show me one thing and I shot my personal best tournment round 71, then beat it next day with 69. Anyone reading this, go see Fort Worth Pro.

 

 

It’s the biggest difference any clubs have ever made in my game. I know everyone can’t get wedges just yet but trust me, be patient. Since Mike’s wedge/iron fitting and John’s putter fitting my equipment is the best it’s ever been. There is a reason the best players in the world come see these guys.

Can't help but notice that a few of the high-end milled putter makers are converging on a very similar mallet design. I wonder if this is becoming "the" mallet head in the way that the basic Anser design became "the" blade head. It could also partly be that you're somewhat limited in mallet design when making a fully milled steel head.

Just got fit by Mike this morning. Such a humble guy that truly knows what he’s talking about. My fitting lasted two hours. He asked me lots of questions and watched me hit tons of shots with different wedges. Made me feel like one the pros when I walked in. He did say he has a very large backlog and won’t be scheduling appointments for a while. I’ll be talking to him again tomorrow so happy to ask questions on behalf of anyone....

I'd assume he just ment wedges. I think they are rolling good on putters right now.

I think the putter fittings are available. We got to see two of their options and they are smooth. Attention to detail is amazing.

Went back today to get a putter fitting with John. Sat and watched Mike grind a couple wedges. Really fun to watch 30 years of experience in action. When I go back, it’ll be with a case of Miller around 3 in the afternoon!!
