I can’t remeber where i read or heard this but someone said because of his tempo he’s going to be better at long ones than short ones . Basically they said with his tempo he has to have the perfect line on shorter putts because his speed is never going to really be right

He has 4 euro tour wins and quite the following. Hes very streaky and very long. hes been called the John Daly of that tour because, well, you figured it out...

I actually like Phil and his style, except the part where he makes over zealous decisions in his game. he needs to learn to stay within himself on every shot, not just 95% of the shots.

I actually like Phil and his style, except the part where he makes over zealous decisions in his game. he needs to learn to stay within himself on every shot, not just 95% of the shots.

 

 

 

 

That is why people love him! It makes the game more enjoyable for the spectators!

What I have enjoyed so far- The galleries have a different vibe. I have not caught up on all the telecast but I did see the gallery giving Charlie Hoffman a nice chant and some Sergio love. Mexico City and surrounding area seem to have a lot to offer the tourist.

What I haven’t enjoyed- The camera angles are off for me. It’s almost like some of the cameras are using different lenses to accommodate the smaller spaces. There was one shot with Jordan Spieth where he looked like a giant, just strange. Or maybe it’s my meds.

What I’m hoping for- DJ, Rahm, Phil and Sergio fighting it out.

Worst nightmare- Sharma shoots a 65-65 and runs away from the field.

What I’m looking forward to- Watching Tiger the next 2 weeks.

Sharma is going to feel the pressure. If he is smart he will claim he doesn't speak English and won't have to do any interviews. I think it will get to him and he has a 74 in him today or Sunday.

you hit the nail right on the head, but that's his Achilles tendon. A player should never alter his strategy based on what the fans want, but maintained a logical strategy throughout the entire match.

Sharma winning would be great for the game of golf if you want to grow the game around the world. He has credentials and currently leading race to Dubai on the Euro tour with two wins this year. Having said that, long ways to go and great players are chasing him.
