How much does PGA tour live cost?

 

$40 for the year, totally worth it IMO

 

no buyers remorse here.....especially if you don't have regular t.v (it simulcasts the main channels too! )

 

They gotta cut Maltbie. The guy does no homework, can't see the ball, seems completely uninterested, and doesn't even answer questions from Feherty when asked. He's so bad.

Yesterday he said a ball was wasn't drawing enough and hanging right but pin high - meanwhile the ball overdrew, missed the pin left and went over the green. And he is so wrong on just about every read.

 

he needs to be in booth with Ken Venturi.....(oh wait...)

I know politics and sponsors played into the move.... this course isn't on the same level as the other WGC venues, Firestone, Austin CC, course is overgrown with trees, comes off as a tough watch on TV...

I agree with a lot of the sentiments here regarding the course. Last year I thought it was really cool and interesting to watch - it felt like a WGC. But now it's in 2nd year it doesn't have the same effect. Doesn't quite feel like a WGC and the course seems like one of the courses I play sometimes - tight holes, a lot of trees, but nothing too exciting.

Oh dear. Golden Boy is not liking those close ones.

 

He got over it pretty quick and it was like 3.5 feet. he also missed a 7 footer for birdie earlier. hes made 3 birdies since... He'll be fine. all that and still sitting at -5...

Looks like a local course vs being at a WCG event.

 

Wish they'd bring it back to Doral. Really liked that course.

He has 4 euro tour wins and quite the following. Hes very streaky and very long. hes been called the John Daly of that tour because, well, you figured it out...

I don't have a problem with this course...just Doral is Doral. I'd like to see Doral. And the fact that Finchem went full-on stuntmode is pretty shameless on his behalf.

He's been around for a little while. I just know of him because I loved his putter the moment I saw him using it a year or two back on some Euro Tour event

I think what some of us mean (I can only speak for myself though) is it doesn't have as big a "feel" as when it was at Doral.

 

Like I said this course looks cool - just Doral has a lot of history to it.

I’d much rather ser them play this course. Doral is just another flat Florida golf course with a bunch of water where a bomber wins just about every time. Give me this course and make guys hit fairways and shape shots instead of another Honda Classic with a better field.

I swear that some of these guys make up their mind about what the shot is going to be before its hit and then comment on that idea instead. I understand getting things backwards with lefties sometimes due to the ball flight you see vs. what it is in reference to the player, but the number of times they are wrong on both direction AND shot shape seems confusing to me. Even Bones back at the Hero last year with a "going down the right hand side of the fairway and its just a question of whether or not it flies the bunker..." with the bunker clearly over on the left side of the fairway.

 

I guess maybe it depends on their vantage point as well, are the on course guys normally behind the player or does it vary?

Maltby just said a putt was going to break a lot to the right...it was pretty much dead straight. Can't even count how many times he's been very wrong this week. He is not good at his job.

Everyone who watches Euro golf should know the "Barn Rat"..

 

Personally I really like the eclectic fields we see in these WGC's. It's like a blending of a top notch PGA and Euro event rolled into one. Not sure how I feel about no cuts but at the very least they should finish all 4 rounds to get any points or money.

 

I was really impressed with Sharma a few weeks ago and he's still on a hot streak. Another impressive young player.
