Make switch to PXG?

I had the 2 iron and I liked it but the shaft, Even Flow blue was way to soft. Had to sell it. Thinking of getting another with the modus 120 steel shaft. It is really nice when you hit it.

You know, there has been a lot of talk about FedEx and signing for your package. You guys do know you can create a free account on Fedex.com - print out a signature sheet and leave it for the FedEx guy/girl. Takes about 14 seconds to print and sign. I've now made about 4 orders through the program and done that each time without hassle.

 

Checked this out and here is what I found?

 

"An activation code will be sent to this address.

It was only a stiff on the 2 iron. Thinking I need something heavier if I try the 2 iron again. I haven’t tried the hybrid yet but ordered a 19 degree Friday with the Fujikura pro 2.0. Really wish there were YouTube videos on the hybrids but there are literally none.

The hybrids have me worried. Praying for a miracle. Used to hit hybrids well and the last two seasons the Adams TI tour hybrids go all over the place. Off the tee I’m pretty straight. Off the deck i have ZERO confidence. Praying the hybrids with tensi tour blue work out well. Bought 17° and 19°.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago today (obviously yesterday was a holiday), but called last Thursday to see if it was too late to switch shafts and they said it was that they had been sent to production and had a shipping number, so I assumed they'd be built on Thursday/Friday and ship today.

I have the 2i in a steelfiber 95 reg flex. It isn't grip it and rip it for me. I also play a 3i XF steelfiber stiff and that is amazing to hit. If I dont get the same love after a couple of more range sessions I'm getting rid of the 2i and sticking to my 3i xf off the tee box.

I think hero program started at $140. At least that’s what I paid on my first order about a month after it started.

 

That one thread in deal or no deal section mentioned 175 or half of original...that was back in may or june....I was of end of July with my order and it was 125....either way I'm happy!

A muted feel but still knowing where the strike was....the flight is incredible....irons are bigger than anticipated but not a bad thing as obviously I need the help! Will check specs to confirm but seemingly spot on for the order....in which I weaken lofts

 

 

 

 

 

They are larger than you thought they would be? Is that the middle sized head that you have? I was debating on going with the xf in the 4-5 irons but maybe I shouldn’t .....

I kid you not.....the P or original has the sole of a G series....T is bigger than iblade, ap2 or s55....much bigger than what I came out of ; psi forged tour....now having said all of that ,from address the topline is very nice! Thinner than p770 to my eye....unusual combination of thin and wide but certainly works! I've had 3 rounds over 15 greens per and really haven't had much range time. Getting GI performance with forged blade like feel.... haven't had ANY hotspot shots as ball has flown appropriate yardages..... apex scared me away with that springy feel...

I ordered on 8/17. Had to take them to a GG to get new grips. Didn’t mind z5 but I asked for midsize plus 1 wrap and not sure why I did. I went back to my old trusty Super Stroke in gray with 4 wraps under the right hand and 3 under my left.

 

Hit them quickly with the big grips and kinda sprayed them. Felt good. I think I made a mistake in ordering the 4i in XF. there is a lot of offset in that one. The 0311 P model is bigger than I thought. Not too big but wish I had size of T but forgiveness of P. Need more time wit them.

 

My whole bag is new right now. New driver, irons, hybrids and wedges. Only the putter survived.
