How about we get back on track? I’ll give some examples.

What’s the no up-charge shafts in the woods and irons?

When can we pre order?

When will see some in hand comparison photos?

Pre-order is early january

Stock shaft for drivers is tensei blue and evenflow blue

PM grind is gonna be available in chrome and gray

About 1/3 balls I pull out of a sleeve have crooked alignment aids on them. Putting lines on the balls is a horrifically bad idea.

I have been waiting for someone to chime in about this issue. I was told that this was an early printing error when they first produced ones for sales samples and demos. They corrected it before they started truly mass producing them

Only saw evenflow and assumed it was blue since they used it for the rogue. What in all that is holy is evenflow green? Same made for bs that the t800 and diamana green they used for the original epic?

Say whatever you want about t800 because it was garbage. Diamana green is easily one of the best shafts for seniors/women. It helps really get the ball up in the air with not an awful amount of spin.

I should be getting a look and test drive on most if not all of the 2019 Callaway range this Friday.

So I did get to look at the whole 2019 line and hit most everything at least once. Really do think it's Callaway's strongest overall product line to date.

Flash SubZero Driver: Agree with others that the shape is quite similar to the FT-Tour. For those that dislike the shape of Rogue and Epic SZ, this will win over most. Sound isn't the quietest ever, but I certainly wouldn't describe it as tinny or annoying in any way. The Tensei AV blue has a very smooth feel through swing and impact similar to shafts that will cost much more. There is a big difference between the SZ and standard Flash at address with the standard looking much longer from front to back and shallower in the face. The impact feel in the standard was also just a tad more hollow, but not a huge deal.

Flash Fairways: Beautiful shape at address, excellent feel and sound, really hot off the face and very low spin. Couldn't find anything about either model that I didn't REALLY love.

Apex Pro iron: Very reminiscent cosmetically of the irons in Xander S's bag, but the retail Pros are forged with Face Cup in the 3-7 iron. The Face Cup will boost ball speed at the cost of sounding a bit louder than a traditional forging. The difference in sound and feel is noticeable but not stark or necessarily offensive, it's just rather apparent that it's not a one piece forging. The 8-P are traditional one piece forgings and sound and feel exactly like one would expect.

Apex Iron: Addition here is Variable Face Thickness for the first time in a forged iron. VFT is there to help with ball speed but also to keep the spin more consistent. Apparently the CF16 Apex had a propensity to produce hot flyers and the new face should help alleviate that.

Big Bertha Iron: New PVD black finish should be more durable than previous. Have to agree with what I've heard from others that these BB irons offer a tremendous combination of ease of use, good looks, good feel and sound. Think these are going to be a massive hit, particularly with the 50+ crowd, but after hitting the irons and hybrid my thought was that I could play them without much trouble at all.

Big Bertha Hybrid: As good as the irons are, the BB hybrid was probably the biggest pleasant surprise. It's big at address and the shape will look funky to better players, but we hit ball after ball that had us all smiling and laughing, saying things like "oh, how good is that" and "oh my, that's amazing". These will be available all the way down to a 8 hybrid, which again I think will make them a huge hit with players who struggle to elevate the ball enough and lack speed. They really are the long game EASY button.

Apex hybrid: Don't get me wrong, this one is good. Maybe it was just that my expectations for it were too high, I don't know. The shiny finish just doesn't look quite right. Had an unusually hard feel to it and also the spin seemed to my eye to be too low to really be effective. Again, good club and others may love it, but being such a huge fan of the original Apex hybrid I was rather let down.

Mickelson 2.0 Wedge: Little more offset than the original, more bounce than the original, C grind instead of U grind. Looks even more like the Eye 2 at address than the original did. I had trouble with the original PM being prone to digging, but found the 2.0 to be better in that regard. Face milling is done in such a way as to keep spin and spin axis more consistent with shots struck with a square face. Available in satin or black.

SuperSoft Magna ball: Slightly larger diameter ball which raises the CG slightly higher above the ground making it easier launch the ball higher. Another product that will likely be a major hit with club golfers who are advancing in age. A slightly tweaked SuperSoft will also be available in standard diameter.

ERC ball: Designed to match the soft feel and very low spin long game spin offered by AVX while offering more spin than AVX as you get closer to the green.

How is the offset on the regular Apex irons? Thanks

I swing right around 90 mph and the T800 5.5 is one of the best shafts I’ve ever played. So much so that I’ve bought a few spares and have tipped them with other oem tips to test heads with.

They must work for others too as pulls on eBay still fetch $60+ usually.

I did some testing on the Subzero and apex forged 2019 irons.

The iron shapes are similar to Xander's, I personally believe it performed better than previous apex series. Had the CF16 and epic pro for comparison with trackman. Hit them outdoors and the trajectory and ball speed and angle of descent was really good, almost similar to epic pro. However shaft wasn't my spec. Look out for this, it will be one of the best irons for 2019 and with slimmer profile, they look great and feel less rubber dampening and more soft "forged". At address it look like a powerful CB iron but equally impressive in the forgiveness department

As for the woods, they feel less carbon thud and more similar to epic forged driver. More metallic sound. Ball speed is comparable to rogue Subzero. More adjustability than previous epic Subzero. Hit some bullets even with the shaft that wasn't my spec. The color combination on the sole might not please everyone. Then again you can order the uDesign. But at address, they set up great. Both driver and fairway metal comes with adjustable hosel.

The odyssey stroke lab lines are quite a performer too. For those who love and enjoy the white hot feel but incorporated with microhinge from the same material. Unlike oWorks where either you like it or you don't. Matched with steel/carbon putter shaft. The balls rolled impressively amazing

Will try to compare against some top brands in the market that utilizes "grooves" face with SamPutt Lab.

The putter pictures are out in the forum and internet. Most favorite Odyssey models are available with slight tweaks in design and materials used

Can't post anything until the green light for world launch or pre official launch but teasers might do for now.

It's gonna be an awesome and exciting for 2019

How is the offset on the regular Apex irons? Thanks

Very similar, if not identical, to the CF16.

I only saw a 7 iron in person but the Callaway rep said and confirmed smaller footprint and less offset on the Apex CF 19 vs CF 16.

I'm not a senior or a woman and I absolutely love the Diamana Green shaft. I prefer light weight driver and fairway shafts and this is the best shaft I've found yet. It's a very solid shaft offering.

It true! I was actually shocked when I first saw the standard apex (non pro) 7 iron is person. Its really compact, like Cobra King CB compact. What I don't know is how the long irons look, hope they didn't add a bunch of offset.

I wonder if the standard Apex gap wedge will have the same awkward look of the CF16.

Surprised to hear that the standard Apex has such a small head size.
