I actually really dig the paint scheme (have done all black again and again).

 

My custom v-line fang slant neck tank is at Continental right now getting this paint scheme.

 

Will probably give the flow neck Tuttle a test.

I already know I like the insert. It felt great in the EXO Rossie. Will definitely give the Tuttle a test. I also would like the No. 9 if they lose the sight line. I like either a sight dot only or a three-line look so I can really see if I have the face aimed perpendicular to the line. One aim line in the center can often look straight when it is not, delending on where my eyes are. I have three lines on my TM Chaska and Bobby Grace 18 Blade and it is amazing how much better I aim those.

 

With the new Odysseys including two-tone Versa-like perpendicular colors, I am eager to see how the Tuttle sets up. I like this insert better than microhinge. Basically the white hot insert with a little more roll-encouraging tech.

 

That Jailbird Mini with three dots also is appealing. Such a nice shape.

I am not sure if there is a specified tank model, but believe weight kits are ready.

 

I was able to get an o-works kit with 2-25's to tank my 7s (380g).

I didn’t like the new insert. It feels firmer and clickier but hollow at the same time. It just was not solid. I ended up ordering a Toulon Azalea instead.

Are there any crank hosel mallets coming out? I was playing around with the Versa O-Works V-Line CH (man what a mess of a name) at Golf Galaxy the other day and absolutely draining putts.

Just make a premium White Hot and get it over with. Literally haven't like a single putter they came out with since 1998.

I'm sure that I am in the minority here, but my favorite Odyssey face for feel has been the O-Works. Personally, I did not love the color scheme on the O-Works putters, just too busy on the head, but I have been putting better with the O-Works #9 than I can ever remember putting.

It sounds like Odyssey is listening to people who still adore the White Hot face feel. The face on this putter seems to be the White Hot face feel with the tech benefits of the Micro Hinge. (I am guessing that is what they are going for here.) I personally wish the shaft were only one color, just for a simpler look, but I am more than excited to give it a try.

I think that is just what they are going for. Fine not to like it, smarter to try it first. I also thought the EXO Rossie was a drain machine. Tremendous roll and balance. This is essentially a white hot with more speed forgiveness built into the insert. What’s not to like? They work.

I saw it in an Instagram and Twitter post from Odyssey. Has an image of the bottom of the #7 Stroke Lab and says "A breakthrough in putting technology. Coming Friday." It's possible I read a bit more in to that than intended.

New line looks great however, with the 40g of weight being saved by using graphite in the shaft and distributed to the grip (30g) and in the head (10g) that means I can't just put any grip on this putter unless I have a grip thats 30g heavier? Kind of a turn off to be honest.

I was hoping for a flow neck v-line, and also bummed to see the v-line fang S, there goes my one-off custom, although I guess mine is a o-works.

 

I still may get one.

Absolutely love the new Exo 2-ball. Per the Golf.com article all Exo models will have an S option. Sign me up.

Apparently the stroke lab concept is going into the EXO line and Toulon line according to whats being read in some of these articles. I like that. That new EXO 7 mini has potential.
