FWIW, DD has been great to deal with on my preorder of the ST190. Also, confirmed that the Atmost Tour Spec line is no charge. Not sure if that’s been mentioned in this Hemingway-esque thread.

 

I have been hearing that Only the Atmos Black is the Tour and the Blue -Red are Standard Atmos shafts. The early photos and video reviews seem to support that. ( Black shafts Atmos Standard )

I had never used an Atmos shaft before this and I was blown away. It fit with the head and had a great balance. Mizuno always does a nice job matching the right shaft with the right head both irons and woods. I just remember how easy it was to hit and how spectacular the head looks at address. Confidence inspiring.

I know it was stated earlier that the no upcharge Tensei options will be the non-pro versions, but in all the online videos and reviews I'm seeing they show the pro versions. Can anyone confirm?

Hit it at demo day. It performed better that Flash SZ and Titleist T3 for my swing. Don't think you will be disappointed when you have some demo time.

Yeah, I don’t swing like Rick lol. But still was hoping for maybe a more positive review. Not that it was bad, just slightly underwhelming compared to the ST-180 on the same day with same shaft.

He has changed his delivery over the years. Look at his AOA. He's now hitting the driver around 6 degrees up. He used to hit around 3 to 4 degrees up. Basically, he changed his swing to maximize his driver distance numbers.

How quick we forget how low spin and great the 900 and 180 drivers were. I had both versions of the 180 and the HL and my yardages were always as good if not better than Epic and M4 offerings.

 

Where the 180 was short was on the blue and more important to me, was the hi pitch soud of the 180.

 

The 190 had all of the boxes checked:

HIT and Carbon sound

900 spin numbers

180 ball speeds

New Fuji and Mitsu premium shafts

Beautiful Club. Definitely wanting to hit. F9 or ST190 for me. Probably going to wait for demo day at my club. Usually have both Miz and Cobra their on same day....Gonna be fun.

Anyone have any experience with the Atmos shafts? I have a SS of about 103-105 and I don’t have a place to get fit for Mizuno woods in town.

The "stock" shaft options are a bit weak in my opinion. No up charge options unless you go to someone like Will Peoples and basically pay retail for club AND the new shaft. I'll see how the Atmos TS Black pans out first, and if that sucks, I'll swap in my A'hina 60x or pick up a HZRDUS black
