Mizuno 2019

Browsing Mizuno Europe's website, I was surprised that it states that the Hot Metals cannot be bent for loft. If true, that is a slight turnoff.

 

I saw this as well. I emailed Mizuno through their USA website about it, and this is the response I got back: "All of our models can be adjusted in loft up to +/- 2 degrees without effecting the performance of the club."

 

That makes sense. Not the first time that a golf equipment website has incorrect information. Cheers!

 

I recently ordered the 919 hot metal 4 iron bent 2 degrees strong and 1 deg upright. So it can be done.

I was waiting for confirmation that the atmos black would be available in a 70 gram option. That pretty much seals the deal for me.

not personally a fan of the shaft options, but the adapter can be pulled and installed on an A'hina or HZRDUS Black I suppose....ill probably order with the Atmos Black 6X

Yeah the Atmos offering is great for custom club builders but kind of weird from a fitting and ordering consumer stand point if those offerings are indeed correct. I wonder if there are more Atmos offerings with the final announcement if they get enough feedback...

You’ll be able to get the TS in other than black. Have hit them with the blue and black, and the other regular Atmos shafts. All are available from what I saw.

That’s good to know but based on the page from Mizuno the only TS(white shaft) listed was the Black.

Hope they do expand this offering.

When I hit these drivers in October my driver had the Atmos blue S in it. That was my first time hitting an Atmos TS shaft and I really liked it. I play a black tie x and liked the lighter weight and the stability of the Atmos.

Apparently not to Martin Hopley from GolfAlot...

I don’t even know why I pay attention to his reviews anymore, he’s so anti Mizuno and anti W/S it makes me sick, yet he doesn’t think twice to giving out 5 star reviews to everything that comes out from TM and Cally.

FWIW, DD has been great to deal with on my preorder of the ST190. Also, confirmed that the Atmost Tour Spec line is no charge. Not sure if that’s been mentioned in this Hemingway-esque thread.
