DJ makes it interesting firing a 63 early.

Wouldn't surprise me, Claude Harmon on Sky Sports has been very bullish about DJ.

I've watched enough tournaments to know that these guys have a really hard time following up a low round with even a decent round. More than likely Rahm will have a tough time scoring but these nasty conditions might save him from needing to go low.

I'm really interested to see how Rory plays not being in the final group.

By his own admission, Rory is not very good playing in the wind. Add this to his tendency to play poorly on Sunday and I'm not expecting much.

Well that could say more about the fans than about poulter but who knows. Maybe he's complaining because he played bad, either way it would be better if people got enjoyment out of watching golf and not yelling at people.

My theory is that social media has made live sporting events almost unbearable. In fact, social media has made going out in public almost unbearable.

Why you ask? Because when these nitwits are on Twitter and Instagram and any other platform, and they put something out there that is dumb and/or asinine, someone usually “likes” it; or a group of people collectively “like” it, which makes the moron think he/she can spout off whenever or wherever he/she wants because people like what they say on the internet.

I’ve been to these tournaments and football games and so on, and yes, when there is booze involved these social media rockstars come out in droves.

News flash to all these idiots: you aren’t funny or entertaining and nobody “likes” you.

He's not really been choking on sundays lately. His iron play has just been not as sharp as the earlier days. He¨s been driving magnificent, this week too, and not really poor putting. If he can keep the iron play as good as yesterday he has a really good chance of winning. That driver will not let him down.

Ballflight control

Patience

Little luck

If Rahm can keep his head, his swing and ball flight are great for the conditions coming in

I’d Assume Fleetwood has faced these conditions an awful lot, but has he faced them much in a course that requires the carry distance precision?

I’d think Rahm and Fleetwood have the games for the conditions if they can keep their cool

Rory and Day seem a bit dodgy for windy days like this.

Maybe someone shoots a good one and waits for carnage

Rory needs to summon his final round at Kiawah for today. The winds are gusting stronger than previously forecasted.

Doesn’t bode well for Rory then.

Interesting little party at the top of the board for the TM staffers.

Only guy crashing their party is Ancer with his Miuras at #5

Little do you know that most of them play Miura. Take a close look , Tourney Blades.

It’s such an advantage in consistency and the manufacturers just order them and stamp their brand on it.

Is this the latest Miura urban rumor? The 730’s and the TW’s are just stamped and milled Miura’s?

I believe too much is being made of comments Rory blurted out in a fit of pique after missing the cut at The Open many years.

He's got a win and 4 other top 5s @ The Open plus he's one of the best ball strikers in the game, he's capable of playing in the wind.

I have eyes and own the same clubs, I know it sounds out there. Believe what you want but their 4-9 especially and a lot of players wedges are Miura wedges.

I start watching and Tiger makes a bogey with a wedge in hand?? Gotta fix those sloppy irons before the Masters.

I don’t think we will see his game round into really good form until the summer. Same thing last year.

Having a fairly consistent driver now is a very big asset for him. It gets out of sorts some days, but for the most part it’s dramatically improved.

He seems to finally be at peace that he’s not the longest out there anymore and the medium high 310-315 yard cut is the shot to embrace.

Been awhile since I've seen this theory floating around...
